December Exercise Challenge! HoHoHo! No Santa wannabes here! Keep moving!

I tried something today that was similar, but different name. Holy crudtastic batman! I burned a ton of calories and I was soaking wet after 30 minutes. Hopefully my back will not be complaining tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion. :) Of course then I came home and ate a bunch of gf choc chip cookies. :( Between 2.5 on the tm, 2.6 on the other machine, and yoga, hoping I am still ok on calories for the day!

Oh, thank goodness you were feeling it, too! After about 10 minutes on the arc trainer I looked at my friend and started laughing hysterically because I was sweating so much!

Just an update that I am 7/7 on the plank challenge :)

Thanks!

Rose-She is doing better today :). Her fever yesterday gave us a real scare. Today I did my long run and put in 100 minutes and 8.6 miles.

290/1200
My ds (who is 22 now) ran really high (105) fevers regularly due to a medical condition that he had. It was really awful. I am so glad she is doing better!

some strength training - mostly arms

22 minutes

133/1000

7/7 count to 10 planks

Struggling to get in time this week...hopefully this coming week is better. Over an inch of ice on my car, trees broken everywhere, too icy to walk/run safely outside.

Planks 4/7

Time 140/1500

DD seems pretty much back to normal today, thank goodness. 25 minutes and 2.1 miles on the treadmill tonight.

315/1200

2TxAgs-- I was wondering about you. We got more snow than ice this time, but in 2009 we had an ice storm that shut down the city for about ~5 days. It stunk. Hope things improve soon. The tree picture looks oh so familiar.

Thanks Rose! I appreciate your thoughts :)

Some many newer neighborhoods down here, and the builders plant these Bradford Pear trees. They grow fast, but are notoriously weak, and heavy winds or in this case, heavy ice, just cause big limbs to crack right off. Years of growth, gone in an evening.

Not sure kids will get to school tomorrow - the lot is an ice rink, and it will barely be above freezing for a few hours this afternoon. Not enough time for the city to clear all the small neighborhood roads. My kid is crushed......NOT!

Guess I need to get busy on the treadmill.... Have a good day everyone.

Snowing here too- so thankful for my treadmill but sure is a different training vibe than my summer race training outside... 9 miles and 110 min brings me to

265/1500 (oops- this should be 275/1500)

Rose- wanted to add thanks for your previous salt tablet endorsement. I tried some today and it helped tremendously. I'm starting to feel hopeful that I might actually make it thru Tink and Princess without stomach issues!

Conquered my treadmill aversion....57 minutes on it and some planks and hip strengthening

197/1500

well - today didn't go quite according to plan. to the point where we spent nearly an hour at a Christmas tree farm and after a melt-down when home totally tree less. I'm so disappointed but it became my job to try to fix everyone's egos and feelings. While finishing the laundry, grocery shopping, etc.

20 minutes of strength training for my sanity.

153/1000

4.2 miles on the treadmill today in 50 minutes. I was hoping for more, but I just wasn't in the mood.

365/1200

30 run and 30 min walking pup in the rain
438/1700. I hope everyone's weather settles down soon
Thanks for hosting :)
