That was 2 walks this morning in the very very cold dark! Well, only one walk was dark. But both were cold!

Had to get a new battery for the car Monday, but that's okay. Anything so I don't have to chauffer kids around is great with me. I got a neighbor kid to help me shuttle it to the high school for DS.

I'm only subbing tomorrow morning so I think I may go the the running store in the afternoon and see about new walking shoes. They were so good to me a couple years ago when I started running. Too bad my knee wasn't as good to me!

Oh I'm so behind.... I did 50 min last night (running), and 5 the night before (just some leg PT exercises before I had to stop and settle an upset child).

Getting ready to update through post #52 :)

It is nasty here, so if anyone else is getting this bad storm/ice/snow, be careful!

Trying to catch up! So far I'm adding 62 minutes walking, 30 minutes treadmill, 10 minutes rowing machine, and 10 minutes arc trainer.

Total=112/900


Rose~I thought of you today while I was at the gym. I know you mentioned trying the rowing machine. I tried the arc machine today and really liked it. I don't know if you have one available to you, but it was a great workout and a cross of elliptical and stepper. I wonder if that would be easy on your back?
I tried something today that was similar, but different name. Holy crudtastic batman! I burned a ton of calories and I was soaking wet after 30 minutes. Hopefully my back will not be complaining tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion. :) Of course then I came home and ate a bunch of gf choc chip cookies. :( Between 2.5 on the tm, 2.6 on the other machine, and yoga, hoping I am still ok on calories for the day!

I wish I could get some of the cool (not ice) here. We are still in the upper 70's here. I'm starting to get concerned about running my 20 miler next week in this heat. Thanks again Rose for being the gem you are. :)
 
Rose-She is doing better today :). Her fever yesterday gave us a real scare. Today I did my long run and put in 100 minutes and 8.6 miles.

Haven't done anything yet (except my planks) this cold, sunny Saturday, but hope to go for a walk later. It isn't supposed to get above freezing today, but maybe the sun will melt some of the snow/ice on the sidewalks by late afternoon!
 
Adding 120 minutes since last posting. Lots of gym work. Tried to increase the amount if time on the treadmill, too.

180/1250 so far.
