DECEMBER 6, 2009 Winter WONDERland sailing!!!

Yeah, I heard from a fellow New Orleans Dis'er on our community thread. I am sota skeptical about all those people-well, maybe it's I don't wanna be sucked in-it is a family trip!

I am with you on it costing an arm and leg-that is another reason we are not doing the Disney version. I heard about the nearby hotel thing and marked it on my calendar to book it- BUT I am unsure about this too-I mean, I don't wanna miss the boat or be in a bind or bad area lost with my kids!

I will have to read a bit more about it.

Read about all mousefest did this year-it was a LOT. I mean, I could see doing the Bahama thing with them, since they ahve done it before.

Just back from 2 weeks in Cabos and glad to see the thread has a little movement! We will probably be driving and then staying after for a few days, depends on finances and if our team makes the playoff on the 5th of Dec. I am heading down for a girls week on the at WDW in about 6 weeks.

We're booking a day room at the Comfort Inn and taking a cab there. They are next door to the Atlantis and can use all the amenities of the Atlantis.

I wrote it on my calendar when I could book there, but am skeptical. Have you don this before?

No I haven't but I have friends that have. The main cruise board also talks about doing this so I am going to double check myself closer to the date. I have also heard of people getting good deals on day rooms at the Atlantis.

I just rescheduled, to this cruise.We were actually on this years mouse fest cruise, but my sister had to have emergency surgery and the recovery from her surgery is long and we could not sailing December.

So It will be me, my DH, DS9 (at the time of the cruise), DS 7,My sis, my brother in law and my parents.


I want to do it all. I want to do meets. I want a fish extender. I want to decorate my door.
I want to do Secret Santa. I want to sail away and dance. .
I look forward to getting to know everyone

My son is excited that there will be someone there his age. We will have to have them talk.

Happy Monday everyone....wow I just kind of realized that we have just a couple months over a year before our trip ..Im in the process of finishing up on the planning stages on my last big blowout trip to DL at the end of next month for MTTP(Mickey's Trick or Treat Party) and there may be another small trip in Dec. but thats not set in stone yet but after that its bye bye AP for a year at least and focus focus on the wdw/DCL trip...Im going to go into some serious disney withdrawels not being able to go to DL..I go about every 2 months for a minimum of 2 days and usually its 4 to 5...so going cold turkey is going to be horrid for me ..Ive been making lists of things I want to buy for the trip, questions Im going to want answered by the DIS folk, itineraries and Adr's I have planned and some great facts Ive gathered for both wdw and DCL...I cant believe how fast its gone since I first booked my cruise and now we are nearing the 12 month mark(I like that better than saying one year..it makes it seem a lesser amount of time) I hope everyone is having a great day and it wasnt too hard getting back to the work grind after the weekend....

Did you get a Passporter? I've only seen one, never owned one. They are great for planning your trip.

I'm posting to bump up the thread and to say that I just booked this one so will be sharing the Wonder with you.

So far I will be solo, but I'm hoping a friend may also end up booking. I think this will be my 12th DCL cruise, although the last three were on the Magic. I'll be in my favorite stateroom - 7628 - Cat. 7. The December 6 sail date is my birthday. Nice gift to myself, huh?

Glad to see there is a thread going for this cruise already!
