I don't think i did already. If I did I am aassuming I would have received the email. I am going to Disney 12/09/08 - 12/20/08. We are staying at Pop Value. It our second trip. Very excited. Hoping some kind of deal is offered. I saw a post that said there was one last year, but not sure what it was for.

will using the Dv on ressie and room qualify for the 0% for 6 months offer or is that only on packages? I'm debabting on getting the card

I think it might just be packages... I made a room only for our first night in December (arriving the day before our pin code) and it didn't show up with the option... I just booked and paid for my May package trip so I will have to look at that statement later this month and see...

BTW, there is a new bounceback going on now that covers 11/30 to 12/13 (Super excited since this covers ALL of my dates!! I just hope there is still availability at the GF when we get there in May!!) 30% off Deluxes and Mods and 40% villas (not sure about the values..)

Bounceback is an offer to get you to return soon. Say you visit Disney in May. If a bounceback is promoted they will offer a significant discount (30-40%) for you to return during another specific period of time (usually a down time).

Well, I did it. Using a friend's points, I'll be at the BCV Dec. 7-13. I did this instead of a package because 1) I don't want to wait for any packages to be announced, 2) we already have left-over tickets and 3) it's cheaper.

I found out I have a work event on Sat. Dec. 6, which was when we were planning to leave, so I was really bummed. So what does that mean for us Disney addicts? Against my better judgement and for the first time ever, I'm paying the nearly double point rate to stay on a Friady night.

I was feeling buyer's remorse until I did the per night comparison. Ha! Only $16 more per night. More than worth the $ for me.

Regarding the bounceback previously mentioned, I'm none too happy to see the return date is during my vacation. We like to go during this time because it tends to have lower attendance. Already preparing myself for the crowds. Grrr.

I wouldn't worry... they are offering bounceback at that time since bookings as of now are low... besides your week is Pop Warner week, so there will be crowds (just not crazy summertime crowds)

Just found out we are having to move our dates from Sept to Early Dec. so hoping some kind of code comes out. Looking at Nov. 30 - Dec 6. What kind of crowds can we expect?? We went last year in Sept during free dining and it was perfect. Low crowds and the sun was not too unbearable. Longest wait for a ride was about 20 mins so hoping it will be the same in early dec. Picked the dates to try and avoid the pop warner crowd. Any info about this time of year would be appreciated.

The decorations are great, hence my Dis name "DisneyNDecember", that is the only time of year we go now. We only get to go once a year since we live in TX, but we are addicted to December!!! You will LOVE it !!!!!

Ditto! This is my favorite time to go. But I've never had to worry about fastpast - most rides are little to no wait (5 or 10 minutes). The weather can be hit or miss, but in both 2005 and 2006, we were lucky. Little to no rain and mild temps (60s at night 70s to low 80s in the day). It's a perfect time to go!

FYI, in case you missed it, there are dates in late November/early December covered by the Bounceback code. I know that I am praying to be able to use it when I go next week so that I can bump us up to OKW in a 2 bedroom unit, so that we can keep a better eye on Corey's mom. I will be content to stay at ASMo with the two rooms, but with her health being so frail, I just would like the peace of mind factor, but at $530 a night for 9 nights, I just can't make it work.

Thanks timon-n-pumba fan! The bounceback definitely covers my time, but sadly, it looks like you have to be there on a vaca to book the bounceback Oh well... I'll stick to my 20% off with AAA.

We just decided were buying AP when we leave in 2 wks and were intrest in going back the first wk in December. Does anyone know what the AP rates were for values or mods. Last yr. I remember reading a while ago that there we GP discount codes for that wk. They are offering bounceback now for the first wks in december and I was wondering which discount was a better option.
I'll be on the lookout for codes/discounts but its hard to plan a second WDW vacation when we haven't left for this one yet.

Normally Pop Week is excluded from codes. HOWEVER, this year the 20%/30%/40% pin code included it and the current bounceback includes it as well... will there be a general code later this fall to include it, hard to say at this point...
