thanks ladies! ...I know I can do it by myself, I just have to be mentally prepared for it before we get to the ship!!..I just know its gonna be a pain in the @R$e to board the ship..If I can keep my kids in the stroller in line that will be great, I'm thinking I might stop at a consignment store and try out one of those baby carriers too. But I'm going to have my BIG OLE LUGGAGE, the kids luggage, the stroller, a carry on bag, and I need to figure out how to get all the FE gifts over there including the knick knacks I got for the kids ie sand buckets etc....but you know, yea I think I can do this with or without another adult.

Just stopping by to say hi. The cruise will be here before we know it. We had a great time last month on the Magic in the Baltic. We came back to the boys starting football and school starting so no rest for the weary. We are platinum members with DCL and we managed to get Palo dinner, brunch and high tea reservations for our 12/5 cruise. I checked today and there's loads still open for the Castaway Club members for booking next week. We are planning on MVMCP on December 9th. We are staying at Animal Kingdom before the cruise 2 nights and after the cruise 3 nights. We really can't wait!!

My DD and DGD are joining me for my trip to AKL after the cruise!!!!! I kept hoping they would and finally Monday they decided they could!!!! YIPPIEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I bought tickets for the DGD and they got home before I did this weekend!!! Yeah!!! now I just might pull out 7 goodies from my fish extender treasures to give to her...1 for each day we are there!!!! lol can ya tell I'm a little excited? They moved to NJ and I haven't seen her since her birthday in January!!!

I'm just hoping I can get into eithrr palo brunch or dinner and get nursery times .

I might follow suit and do a disney stay after cruise instead of drving back 2wks later. We'll see. Gonna pay off cruise in couple weeks!! Woop woop!

First time cruisers can't book for the Cruise into Palo on Sept. 21st! Think there will be a chance we can still get in???

I hope so because we really want to do brunch. I understand if you can't get ressie's online that you might have a chance once you board. Here's hoping for us cruise newbie's.

Brunch still has plenty of openings. I added our friends that we are cruising with to our Palo brunch and dinner and we were able to keep the 10AM brunch. We are doing dinner on Nassau night and we had to change from 7:30 to 7:00 for a table for 4. There were still 6PM and 8PM ressies not blocked out. I haven't been able to look at the other nights for dinner, but I'm sure there are plenty of openings.

I'm not sure if brunch will be available to book on line for 1st time cruisers but there's a chance you can book if you go straight to the Palo changes/reservations once they open on embarkation day. We've gone to Studio Sea on past cruises or Rocking Bar D to make changes or add a reservation. If they are full they will take a wait list. We've never had a problem getting a Palo dinner or brunch reservations in 12 DCL cruises. It's just hard to choose what night to go to dinner since we love the dining rotations and wait staff. This cruise we did Palo dinner on Nassau night because we didn't want to miss the 1st or last meals in the dining rooms and Toy Story is our least favorite show that we don't mind missing.

We've done several Magic cruises, and this is our first on the Wonder. We're looking forward to it, especially seeing the decorations.

We have a dd 16, ds 12, dd and ds 6. Our older kids aren't the group activity type, but always like to email/chat with others on the ship and then meet on board.

Do we have a roll call yet? I everyone wants to PM me their names, ages, and dining time/whatever else you want the group to know, I'll put a quick list together.

Julie I put together a list a couple pages back. I guess once we get closer we need to know who's going to be involved in fish extender so we will need to know cabin numbers too.
I think even if ur not participating in FE I would like to drop off a gift for your cabin.

think I'm about done shopping for the cruise, now its time to make my magnets and FE!!!

I'm also get my DS2 prepared for the trip by watching Peter Pan and Pirates of Caribbean all the time. He even is singing the Yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me!

WOW so good to see new people coming on board!!! I'm so excited!!! I have my fish extender done and gifts done...and magnets for the doors finished. AND I just found out instead of 2 of us going to AKL afterwards we will be a party of 10!!!! EVEN my 79 year old Dad is coming!!!! Yeah!!!! My friend and I will be in 1626 . We are 2 older women who love Disney and are working professionals who met and became friends because of our love for Disney. We'd like a list please when its done!!! Bought a tote bag to personalize (not too much of a Martha type to make a FE) and will get working on gifts - any idea on how many we need to bring? This is my first time doing this.

I can't wait to see the decorations and the ship, I keep watching the shows on the Travel Channel about cruising and a few weeks ago they even had one about DCL, I think I'm driving my DH and DD crazy talking about this cruise

DJBLU you did your FE already....ugh I'm so not on track as I would like to be!! I have all the magnet paper, I just need to get to printing!!!

I will have my info (cabin #)on the 20th..I am going to pay that day because I can't do my ressies till 21st anyways.


but i do have all my FE gifts...and I keep collecting stuff here and there even though I have what I need..its so hard to know when to stop!!

I was just thinking last night..man when the day comes, Dec 5th, I'm going to be a wreck with emotions (happiness and nerves)..so if you see a woman crying with two kids that'll be me...lol

Cool! as for ideas I didn't make anything which I had wanted to ( i wanted to make water bottles with cruise logo and ugh its just not going to happen) so instead I bought disney stuff that was either $0.50-$1.50...you be surprised with all the stuff you can get!!!!!!!
