Hi, I am looking for the current info on the World Showcase boats. We are arriving next week and want to find the best ways to get around. Thanks in advance.
The World Showcase boats are more about a brief, scenic cruise across the lagoon. They really aren't the best way to get around as you would miss much that you would otherwise see if you were to walk.
BUT given that sometimes resting our feet is more important than seeing the sights, the World Showcase boats only run along the Canada-Great Britain side of the lagoon, from the dock that’s to the right if you’re coming from Spaceship Earth to the dock at Morocco. And they stop running some time before Luminous, but I’m not sure when.

Not anymore. They now run the whole circle as they’re doing Canada to Germany. Nice to ride the boat around all of world showcase but personally I find them less useful now- but I’m saving money lol. I tend to stay at IG resorts so when in future World I’d grab the boat back to Morocco, grab some bubbly in France and meander my way back to IG. Now after walking through Canada and the UK I’m like “nah, I’m good” at the thought of traversing the bridge into and out of France for a small flute of bubbly. I really am a lazy soul lol.
@backformore you will be walking so you’re best bet for efficient travel is to lay out your plans looking at a map of EP to minimize criss crossing. You will see 4 docks in the lagoon, 2 of which you may look at longingly and that’s it. Neither Mexico nor Morocco are in use anymore.
Alas, all the parks are basically all walking. Disney World is a strong believer in physical fitness!
Thanks - when did they change it? I looked at the Epcot map here on DISboards, which might be an older version, and it showed the Canada to Morocco route. We’d possibly be interested in riding from Canada to Germany, so thanks for this information!

I think it may be a seasonal thing, because most of the time I have been there it has only been Canada to Morocco but a few trips it has been the whole circle. I miss the days of a boat on either side going back and forth as it is more difficult to get a seat when they do the circular route. I used the Mexico to Germany boat a lot when it was available.

We haven’t paid a lot of attention to the boats in recent years because we’ve rarely wanted to travel between Canada and Morocco without skipping what’s between them. But next month when we’re there I’ll definitely check out the boats. I can see us wanting to travel from Germany to Canada or vice versa.
