Dec 5, 2010 ~ 4 nights on the Wonder!

Just got finished vacuuming and mopping! We leave in the AM and the house/puppy sitter arrives later. Hope he doesn't destroy it. I'm not quite as perfect a housekeeper as his Mom is but wanted it nice for him and for mention come back to as well!!!

We both started and finished packing last night. We wound up with 8 bags. I told my husband we are going to end up buying a roof top luggage carrier down there for the rental car because he thinks we are going to fit them in an Impala. Last year we had 5 bags and had 2 in the back seat and he thinks these are going to fit. Luckily 3 are small carry on size and I guess can go at the boys feet! They'll have their school back packs too..

I just finished up my very last work task and it feels so good to be done with everything I need to do by the 15th. Of course because of that I've had no sleep this week and working around the clock.

DH is on the way to take the dog to the kennel and then we pick up the boys and head out to BWI stopping at Chic Fil A along the way (a tradition for vacation). We are all sooo excited!

I never managed to buy a jingle bell but I think we'll be wearing Ravens t-shirts at the terminal and I'll be in my lovely black boot so if you see us say hi. I was nice and used my son's shoe cleaner fog to clean my boot out this morning so TSA won't be too badly grossed out!

I just wanted to stop by and say hi to everyone! Thank you so much for the FE gifts! We weren't participating but everyone was so generous! Our stateroom host wanted to know why we were getting so much stuff! He said he kept checking so he could put the stuff in our room!

I hope everyone had a wonderful time like we did, in fact, we are already rebooked! My husband and I really enjoyed meeting and talking to everyone.....we hope to see y'all on another cruise!

We got home late last night after some flight delays and broken baggage carousels.

We had a wonderful Disney trip and loved the cruise.

It was great meeting everyone that we had a chance to meet through out the cruise.

hey everyone!!! glad to hear some of you made it home safe...i just finish taking 30minutes to tell my colleague about my cruise lol..first day at work and still haven't done work!!

I had a wonderful time...it was crazy at times with the kids but I'm used to it. I just wished the elevators were a little wider...

I didn't book on the cruise since I spent a lot of money!!! but I am definately going to try and book in february a cruise for april 2012...and FYI I probably won't book a cruise during december again...I really wanted to be in the water!! MIguel loves the water and that would've made our vacation 100% perfect!!!


thank you all for the gifts!! I think Chloe ate all the candy and Miguel still is asking me for Pirate tattoos!! lol luckily we had some left. all the tree ornaments are on my tree and will forever be a part of my ornament collection.

Thank you all again! I wish I was able to meet everybody, but Miguel and Manuelito were overwhelmed with everything so they were extra hyper that day we met at Promenade Lounge.

I'll be writing my trip report so check it out...hopefully some of you will write some too so I can see how your cruise experience was!!

I'm looking at photos of our cruise to upload and keep thinking this time last week we were at Castaway Cay...

Mommamouse-I just saw your ptr link (not sure how I missed it the last year!!) and read the whole thing. Great job! I'm looking forward to your trip report!

The weather was definitely cooler than it's been on our last 4 December DCL trips but it was still nicer than it was here! It's between 0 and 10 here today with the wind chill. I know it's much colder in other states nearby.

We have the Dream booked for July 24 and the Magic for November 26 of 2011. I'm hoping that 2012 summer itineraries come out soon with some nice surprises. I'd love to do the Eastern Med or Hawaii repo. Brennan (ds9) and myself will go to Star Wars weekends in June and we are hoping to squeeze in a family trip in maybe March. We are all already having Disney withdrawals.

wow I'm jealous two trips in one year!!!..I looked up some cruises for next year and I really would love to do a the Oct 23rd cruise, another 4 day on the dream but I will have to wait to decide because we have a huge reading festival during that time of year and I want to make sure of the date before I book.

we'll see. because I wanted to do 3 stays at the world next year. One for my bday weekend, one for october (unless i do cruise) and one for christmas. So that means saving the money for the passes and the resort stays..but after cruising I don't know I think now I'm in love with the ships!

Finally back after the cruise and 7 long days in the parks afterwards. I'm glad I went on the cruise! I wanted to know if it would be fun if I chose a longer Med cruise. Sadly I discovered I'm not a cruiser! There simply wasn't enough on board ship I enjoyed apart from the shows and movies. And I know the Med shore excursions are VERY costly so I'll choose a different way to see those countries. I loved the FE gifts and enjoyed delivering ours. We did book WDW for Oct. Next year! Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Hi all, we got home very late on the 17th. I've been busy unpacking and getting organized for normal life.It was so great meeting all of you and thanks so much for all the FE gifts. We had a blast delivering and recieving all the goodies. The Christmas ornaments are on our tree and really look great. I also took pics of everyones door.
I couldn't believe how the frigid air followed us to the parks. I had to wear layers to keep warm. Tank top, t-shirt and two hooded sweatshirts plus gloves. I've never ran into this one before.

Oh and we were very late getting home because the Auto Train we were riding hit a truck in a crossing in Jacksonville at around 6:10 pm. The investigation took 2 1/2 hours. It was a 24 year old man in a truck and he escaped with no injuries. Then when we were about 30 minutes away from the Lorton Station a CSX train was stuck on the tracks and of course on the way home we were stuck in traffic for hours.

Mommamouse already named my upcoming TR. It was deffinitely a National Lampoon's Disney Vacation.And by the way, my negative DH loved the cruise and wants to plan another one.But next time we'll fly and even though I hate it, it's the least I can do.

MommaMouse I'm not planning to cruise again...just not my thing, but plan my 27th trip back to WDW in Feb. then back again in Oct. to Fort Wilderness which our family adores! We did AKL this year and actually hated we had spent the extra money as little time as we were there to enjoy it. Thinking of working on my Bucket List for the rest of my travels this year! Nova Scotia here I come!!! Hope your boys enjoyed the wooden toys! J

this christmas went by so fast, I think it was due to the cruise..however, it was filled with christmas spirit and I loved that!!!

now on to the new year!!!! here's to hoping to buy my AP passes and do an Oct cruise!!!

Hi MommaMouse, You are so right, Christmas flew by. Right now I'm looking at about 15 inches of newly fallen snow but that's New England for you.We are planning on an Oct Dream cruise. 4 nights like before. I also would like to go to MNSSHP. My DH is already giving me ideas for t-shirt designs. Gotta love him. I plan on booking in 2 weeks. Can't wait. Hope you have a Happy New Year.
