DDP and pre paid lunch

I did everything backwards this trip. I booked room only, added days, bought tickets, etc.
I made my reservations at 180+ and booked CRT for lunch. About 3 weeks ago I decided to add the dining plan. When (if) I use my DDP credits when we eat will I get a refund? Do I need to call? Just wondering.

Just tell them at check in and they'll refund you.

You could call, but I don't trust the phone CMs to not lose my reservation!

We have always ended up keeping it OOP, since it was already paid, instead of using 2 TS credits, but I have seen many others on here say they just told them when they arrived, and it was no problem.
