Hey Fed… well I finally did it. Backed the boat in without the plug. Luckily I remembered when I got out to unhook the boat. I hopped back in the truck and yanked the boat out of the water. Water poured out of the bilge for about 2 minutes. Glad I realized or we could of had a really short trip. :rolleyes2

I guess you can add my face on to the stupidpeople.net web page.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Naw, you get around boats long enough it's bound to happen...at least you found out early. I watched a guy last year have to bail out his boat at the ramp because his bilge pump failed.

Morning guys....We look to finally be getting back into the swing of things around here.:cool2:

Morning Guys,

I think it will be a quiet morning around here today. DS had a friend sleep over and at 4:45 AM I had to tell them to go to bed. Not hearing much from the basement so far.

:lmao:

First stop on Barry's Eastern Seaboard family road trip.

A nice afternoon / evening with Barry, Brent, and all the wives and kids.

Spoken like a true Torontonion, neither you or Niagara Falls are on the Eastern Seaboard, now matter how often Toronto claims it is. ;) :lmao:

Great pictures Guys, looks like it was a great meet.

Happy Sunday morning boys.

Today is the 180 day mark for our trip in February. I'm up ready to make our ADRs. I got my coffee and all of the restaurants open in a tab with the dates and times I need ready to go for 6am. I'll post how I did. Hopefully it all goes smoothly and when I call BBB at 7 that I am able to get the timeslot I need there and don't have to change these ADRs around. I post my results afterwards.

Success! I got all of the ADRs that we had wanted and got Penny in for an 8am BBB at the Castle on our first full MK day. Unfortunately CRT is closed during our trip, but we are doing Akershus on our EP day. I think I'll take the rest of the day to relax.

Looks like a good time. How long did you all get to hang out?

Looking forward to the results. We do the same thing when we hot the 180 day mark. We are going to be at WDW with 2 other families and we divided and conquered. We basically established a command center style communication center to execute the ADRs. :rotfl:
How old is your kiddo that's doing BBB? We've done it 3x. Twice at the Castle and once at DTD (the trip was booked with short notice and the Castle was booked solid). We've done various levels of the Dress\hairstyle options including the "Cost of a mortgage" package. All in all, it was so special for my girls I actually had no issues paying that type of money. If you can manage to visit with Lady Tremaine and her daughters while your child is dressed up, their commentary is HYSTERICAL. Also, the CMs all over the Park, despite seeing hundreds of girls in princess attire, really go out of their way to acknowledge them.

Good morning all!

GM, David!

I was taken out of my routine. Usually Mel handles the kids while I'm getting the boat ready. She didn't come with us this time and my dad was watching them. So I was watching him and not paying attention to what I was doing. :sad2:

As I suspected, it was a DW's fault!:rotfl2:

I don't know much about boats beyond knowing how to drink one one, and how to purge over the side on one. However, i have been told by boat owners often, "It's better to be friends with someone that own a boat, rather than owning a boat." ;)

We did "Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner" at 1900 Park Fare. Perhaps you could do that in lieu of CRT the day that Penny goes to BBB? It's just a monorail ride over to the GF. It was a very good experience. All of the characters were exceptionally involved with the guests. It wasn't just sig the autograph book, take a photo and move on. The CMs were in full on character mode and were knee slapping funny.

We met up with Barry around 2:30... did the Niagara Fury movie, walked the Falls, then over to Clifton Hill. Then out to dinner until about 8:00 ish...
Brent joined around 5:00...

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Afternoon, your bad idea for the day:

Great day yesterday, seeing Brian and his family again, and meeting Barry and his family. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Such awesome people too.

After dinner we decided to head back to the falls, since our parking pass was still good, and walked down Clifton Hill and down to see the falls, since I've ben working with Amelia on reading a book on the history of the falls and she wanted to see where Table Rock once stood. It was a beautiful night for walking, and on our way back from the lip of the falls e ran into Barry and his family again. Walked and talked for a bit but soon split up again heading to our respective parking places. :thumbsup2 Was a lot of fun

She will be 4 a week from tomorrow. We are going with the hair, makeup and mani package as she has a few dresses already that we got at non park prices.

We are early risers so we are doing a character breakfast in a park everyday, except for the BBB day, which is at 8am in the castle and a breakfast at Ohana. So we are in the park before opening everyday except the 730 Ohana breakfast, which should give us plenty of time to make it for rope drop.

Was able to get a dinner at BoG and a lunch at LeCellier on our last day (half day at EP).

The lady I spoke with at BBB was impressed with my ADRs. She said I'm supposed to offer to help you with ADRs, but you appear to be more than set, lol.

I would make my dinner reservations for our November trip but still have not heard what our exact dates are.. just know its some time in November. A

That is def the way to go. We've done it with our DD's dresses and with the BBB ones. The BBB dresses are nice, but I really don't think they are worth the price. That's absolutely an area where you can save a few dollars to spend somewhere else.

well, my phone decided to cut me off as we got our food earlier. was out for DW's birthday dinner a week or so late (acutally 10 days late, but getting her sister and everyone in town was difficult)

DS won the pretty baby contest yesterday. 4 years in a row. was joking around wondering if there is a special trophy for winning all 5 years in a row?

Looks like they need to start using fluorescent golf balls at the PGA Championship. :lmao:

You didn't sound the air horn at 7:00 AM.

The step sisters do put on a good show. We've been several times over the years. In the beginning, they had Cinderella's mice, Cinderella, Charming, and the fairy godmother.

Gotta tie this thing in somewhere.

Congrats to dd. Maybe she'll get to be a Disney princess one day.

Evening guys. Spent a nice weekend at the lake with the family. Home now, getting ready for the week.

And by getting ready for the week I mean drinking scotch and looking up new TV's online...

:thumbsup2

28 hours logged at work this weekend. I. AM. WIPED. OUT.
I'm hoping that my phone does not ring tonight!
Hope everyone had a good weekend. I have a few days of vacation this week so at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Pretty sure I said DS lol son. DW cut his hair a few months ago because people were mistaking him for a girl too often. I liked his long hair better, and he seems to like longer hair as long as its not in his eyes.

Will post a picture of all 4 trophies once I get it uploaded.

Off to sleep and a long day tomorrow because forced overtime. Its either volunteer for the day that works for you or be called ~5 hours before start of shift for early overtime when im trying to sleep. Grr.

This is why you get paid the big bucks!

Good morning guys :)
