Morning guys! Heading up to Ft. Wayne today. I mentioned it on FB, but forgot to do it here. Our first home study visit is this coming Monday. To say I am a little nervous is an under statement :scared:

Good luck! We're all counting on you! :thumbsup2

first day of work in the magic kingdom update!!!

SHE LOVED IT!!!! she started at 4:15pm. worked in a classroom on a computer for the first three hours. went to her work location. had 45 min. for lunch and worked on main street, pop corn wagon by the castle, (front row for wishes) loved the people!!!
they were trained how to clean a pop corn wagon properly and checked out at 3:35am. O.T. BABY!!!! paid my weeks room and board off in one night!!! :lmao::lmao:

she said it was great, no waiting for buses and plenty of seats. she was surprised to find all the people (cms and guests ) still in the park at that hour.

Awesome!!

The question is - how much popcorn did she eat?!? ;)

I'd say that's the absolute best location to start your very first day!

The good thing is it is sport related.

Well, that does help considerable (along with liking what you’re doin’).

I don’t have to work all weekend, but I do have to work Sunday…
And it’s just work-work so there's zero fun about it…
And I don’t have the option of saying no…
And I don’t get paid for it…
:sad2:

Well, in that case, enjoy your weekend. :thumbsup2

Ya’ know…

There’s a distinct difference between being a diabolical nemesis worthy of repartee and being nothing more then down right evil.

:rotfl2:

Working from home today... Caught some nasty bug.

:sick:

Good to be home…
The reason for it bites, but at least you're home.
Recover quickly sir.

Morning

Prayers your way, but I am sure it will go well...

Working from home today... Caught some nasty bug.

:sick:

Don't look at me :rolleyes1 Although for the record, I'm home today too, everything developed into a nasty headcold. Rather just get over it quick.

Mornin' fellas:coffee:

Had to take my son to the dentist this morning, now getting ready to sit in on a Death Review Panel.

I'll answer the firearms questions later, though I just got through the Thread in Rumors and News about the gun, and I'm surprised by the number of people defending guns on here (while acknowledging the dude was unbelievably stupid...which he was.)

Usually Gun Threads here go the same way as the Takingkidsoutofschool/Resortpoolhopping/reusingrefillablemugs threads...

Or in short:

I thought I told you Mark was sensitive about that.... :stir:

See. :lmao:

:lmao::rotfl::lmao:

If the guy said it fell out of his pocket, then I'm guessing bag check ain't catching that weapon anyway. Frankly, if he had a concealed carry permit and was carrying it properly concealed, it is something that the typical crowded Disney security checkpoint isn't going to catch anyway.

I loved the legal comments that all the self-taught lawyers were bringing out on the link you posted. I might actually have to venture out of the safety of the clubhouse to see what all the gun experts on the DIS have to say. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I'm not sure I trust a guy that had his gun "fall out of his pocket" and then not know it's missing. Could have easily ended up tragic. What if just kids found it and there was no adult? While I support and own many guns, this guy scares me.:headache: Not very responsible about it.

I strongly recommend AGAINST participating in any of those discussions...:lmao::lmao:

Ask me how I know....:headache::headache::headache::headache:

:faint:

There will be no participating. Just lots of reading, laughing and :sad2::sad2:.

I know, right :lmao::lmao:

Liquid lunch....DisDad approved :thumbsup2

Second :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

You're absolutely right. Just tucking it in a back pocket isn't exactly a responsible way to carry. I was just trying to say that a properly concealed weapon would be easy to get by bag check. I don't endorse doing that, and I don't think this guy should have the ability to carry in the park, I was just making an observation.

Having a gun tucked in a back pocket and letting it fall out without noticing, is without doubt, not responsible to say the least.

I got the impression that anything in your hands can be considered a weapon? :confused3:rotfl2:

At the 6 am opening, it wasn't crowded at all. After we got our T-shirt at the Emporium the place was pretty empty. For the first few hours everything was a walk on. We left after lunch and the crowds were noticeably higher. When we got back at night, there were fairly heavy crowds. Aloha Isle had huge lines.

Somewhere around 37,000. I think 50-75 people show up for each game. The upper deck is closed for most games. Tried watching them on TV but just can't. 13 wins this year and on a 7 game losing streak.

Fed, we all know you don't carry when your in the park. There would be too much temptation when you are on Small World.

Glad it was a good day for you. Did you post pics of the t-shirts, didn't see them.

Yup. Been there with the team losing wayyyyy too much.

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Really???? Minimum damage????? :faint: If I'm in a situation where I feel my life is in danger and I have to pull a gun for defense, I want to make sure the son of a @#*&$ on the other end doesn't get a chance to take a shot.

But that's just me... :rolleyes1

I'm with ya. If your gonna do the job, do it right.

Doubtful. She only catches me posting bad stuff.

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

She probably see all of it. The key is you only hear about it when she sees the bad stuff.

Supposed to be in the 90's here for the next 4 days. After hearing everyone complain about the rain for 2 weeks, we'll be in a water ban by Sunday.:sad2::sad2:

Glad things started on a good note. Up front for the fireworks every night. I could get used to that.:thumbsup2

Prayers that Monday foes well. I'm sure you'll do awesome!

Lol. She is looking forward to the Halloween and Christmas parties. I was trying to get her to sign up for the candle light processional in Epcot but won't do it. She said she can't sing. Lol. I can't sing myself.

Oh, didn't even think about that until now. It would be awesome to be at all the parties and get to watch the parade and fireworks nightly. Your right. She may never come home!:thumbsup2

Morning Guys.

DW left this morning for their school trip so it is just DS and I until Sunday night. Unfortunately I am working all weekend.

Have a good Thursday!

Bummer. You'll have to find some fun things to do after work. At least you get to eat out for the next few days.:thumbsup2

Well, that does help considerable (along with liking what you’re doin’).

Work on Sunday for no pay........No thank you, I've tried that and it wasn't fun. Hope yours goes by quickly.

We have had a weird head cold thing going around. DD has double ear infection right now. The whole family's ears are blocked. It's pretty funny since no one can hear each other.
