Must be everyone is watching the basketball game. I'm still waiting on an "all-clear" from the Dean before I stick my head out of the foxhole.

Could be a chance to run the boards and pad my numbers...

The Pirate Princess approves.
Tell her all the guys in Wisconsin are this cute. See if she sends an application off to UW. :thumbsup2

I can't believe we haven't seen a pic of him in a Wisconsin shirt :confused3

Don't encourage him. :rotfl:

Hmm.....not sure if we have a newborn Badger outfit. But the hat that I brought him for wandering around WDW in August has a big red "W" on it. :thumbsup2

Awesome, looking good! I gotta ask, what is the logo on the hat?
Thanks. That's the Milwaukee Admirals, AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators.

Tonight's in trip pictures.

Went to th beach house today. Some advertising. But, they also had an indoor, air conditioned, tv watching and gathering area for those who don't want to be outdoors, Disney thinks of everything.

temporary-24.jpg

they also have the pool side bar. But, they can only make drinks from a standard menu. Had a rum punch and will avoid that in the future.

temporary-23.jpg

We arrived at the beach round 9:30 AM. Where did the water go?

temporary-26.jpg

temporary-34.jpg

Oldest found a starfish.

temporary-32.jpg

Little more difficult to pick it up.

temporary-25.jpg

Youngest found a crab leg. That is the closest to seafood she came all trip. Every meal was chicken or hot dog.

temporary-29.jpg

My proudest accomplishment.

temporary-27.jpg

Not my fingers in the pic. But, I dug my own hole for beach umbrella with the toy shovel one receives with a kid meal, and, it held against the wind on th beach. The beach house pool also had a net for volleyball. So, we spent 2.5 hours on the beach and 2.5 hours at the pool. Then, we returned to home resort.

This was a trip to hunt Brer Rabbit with Shadow.

temporary-35.jpg

Apparrntly, the story of Brer Rabbit has some beginnings at the Hilton Head islands. Interesting story.

The kids gt to walk along with th dog and feed the rabbits hiding in the bushes. At the end of the trip, we end up at the main entrance for lemonade and cookies.

Another fabulous day. We went out to eat at Scott's Fish Market.

temporary-38.jpg

Now' time for some night swimming. Have a magical day. I think there is a basketball game on tonight?

Great pics Norm, glad your having a great time:thumbsup2 What state is that in:confused3

This game keeps getting better... Was wondering if UK could run out the clock for 20 minutes... Looks like the answer is no!

Reading Game Of Thrones currently; Good book, but very long. And now that the second season is starting for HBO, I can't turn around without seeing adds for it, so it only makes me want to read faster and get through book 1 so I can watch the first season and catch up...

There's my random thought for the day. ;)
4200 pages worth of Game of Thrones. Once I was finished, I was just depressed for a little while. But SUCH a well written story!

Good Evening Everyone!

Thanks for the congratulations - I haven't had time to read through them all, but I did see quite a few. I'll get through all of them, I promise! But for now, let me tease you with a shot of my new son, Ryder.

(He's the little one next to the Dole Whip shirt. :thumbsup2)

Beautiful son, and great shirt!
(our baby girl was 4 months old on her first WDW trip. When is Ryder planning to go?)

Holy Cow... :scared1:

Last night we got a call from WDW Travel Company.

April Fools

I bit. Congrats....:lmao:

Glad to hear he's doing so well now! Births can be rocky starts, and how fortunate that there were folks there who could turn things around so quickly (I have no earthly idea why people would take the risk to do a home birth...)

FYI, the infection is Group B Strep (GBS). It's by far the most common infection in newborns, but fortunately easily treated if caught in time (like for Ryder!) Congratulations again!

I was going to make a comment about having a doctor on the boards, but I think someone beat me to it. Still, glad to know Ryder is doing well.

FED!!! 25, 35, not even 45 anymore for me. :sad2: :lmao:

It bothers me that I'm closer to 35 than 25. But still looking forward to softball this season. The league is playing at the park that is 7 houses away from my house. I have no excuse to not play. Well, no excuse other than I'm not good at softball.

62 days till check-in! I've got my ADR's, parks, snacks, and rides all planned. Now I'm wondering if I've over-planned. I think I have.

There's no place like home. There's no place like home. MADE IT. It did take longer to get out of the parking lot (lost ticket) than it did to go through security at the airport (no ID).

Maybe you'll learn English and meet a hot flight attendant.

English, check. Hot flight attendant, no.

Says the guy with all the prescription meds in his bag... :rolleyes1

;)

At least it got me on the plane.

Tell her all the guys in Wisconsin are this cute. See if she sends an application off to UW. :thumbsup2

Plus you have cow tipping and cow pies. For some reason she isn't buying it.

DD had a fun time at Seton Hall. I think they have moved into the lead. St. John's got cut.

Starting book 2 now. Looking forward to it! ;)

Oh yeah, sorry to Aaron and the KU fans, but UK's win just gave me my office pool and some more Disney spending money, so thanks UK. :thumbsup2

HATE to see Cal win though. :headache:

Great pics Norm, glad your having a great time:thumbsup2 What state is that in:confused3

I believe it's the Vero Beach (Florida) Resort.
Nope - Hilton Head, South Carolina.
But I agree with Ron - the Pics are amazing. Thanks for getting me out of the NICU for a little bit. :thumbsup2

Beautiful son, and great shirt!
(our baby girl was 4 months old on her first WDW trip. When is Ryder planning to go?)
Thanks. We have a WDW wedding in August. He'll turn 5 months the day we leave.

Thanks guys for the concern and offers to bunk with you. TSA was giving me a hassle then I told them I knew Fed. Passed me right through.

Actually it was relatively easy. Showed them the police report and the guy asked me if I had any other ID including prescription meds. Thanks to my hospital stay, have lots of meds with me. Looking at a bottle, he asked for my address which I gave. "Can you give it to me again." I said sure but the address on the med is the pharmacy. "Oh yea, you are right. Go ahead."

glad you got through relatively easily. next time, be sure to memorize the address and phone number of your pharmacy!

Happy Monday Afternoon everyone. Spent the night at the hospital with DS last night. Up 3 or 4 times for feedings. DW and I are switching off, with the other one here at home with the bigger kids to get them off to school, etc.

Talked to the Doc this morning - they stopped one of the antibiotics that he doesn't need, but will need to be on the other one until this weekend. As of right now we're looking at bringing him home Saturday night or Sunday morning. It's going to be a long week, but he'll be home before we know it!

And just for fun, a picture of the little guy:

IMG_1039.JPG

cute pic!! glad he is doing well and eating well!! the weekend will be here before you know it!

Nothing like sitting at the airport while your flight is delayed. Feel like Tom Hanks in Terminal.

you could always do this...

Tonight's in trip pictures.

more great pics!! keep them coming!! more ammunition to show DW and convince her to go there!

or should be doing them. :rolleyes1 I dread the process. I had to tape into the 401K for a new heat pump for the vacation home aka the house we could not sell when we moved.

pillaged my 401k to buy the house a couple of years ago. Went into contract in december, but I thought I was being slick by waiting until Jan 1st to make the withdrawal, so I wouldn't have to worry about it on my taxes that year. Wouldn't you know, they send me tax forms for it anyway... so I filed with it added to my income + the penalty. Then the following year, I get the same tax form... :scared1: Those beverlies tried to get me taxed on it twice!!

Can't believe I am still on the on the leader board...
