Morning, all! pirate:

So my boss stops by yesterday afternoon to tell me that I have to take all my stuff out of my cubical before Friday morning. :confused3 Apparently, they are moving my row of cubes a total of 3 feet so they can put in new cubes behind our row. So I now need to take everything out... move it to another location... then move it back in when they are done. :sad2: So... I said I need to work from home on Friday... She said "Ok". :cool1: Oh... and I get to use company time to move the stuff, so that ain't bad either :rotfl2:

Sounds like a lot of work for a 3' move. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I see an episode of the office. Will you be removing one of your cubicle walls as well?

Agreed. A lot better then them saying they are taking your cubicle out period.

Unless it is too an office with a big raise.

As a resident of St. Louis, with the Rams to "cheer" for, all I say every year is: Go Green Bay! (my DW is a cheese head for some reason)
:

Rams won a Superbowl with Warner and almost a 2nd if not for spygate cheating Patriots.

Yep, somehow our little company each year makes Billions of dollars in profit, yet we have to cut back staffing, budget etc to make it happen?

Good thing they have a lower tax rate to offset their billion profits and their sadness of laying off the other employees.

Good morning Matt and David! Working from home today unfortunately. With dial-up I won't be able to catch up on the last 22 pages so I'll just jump in here. Hope everyone has a good hump day.

Dial up. Is that like a record player?

Maybe we need a class action suit against the lottery, as THEY are the ones loosing weekly, not us.? ;)

Brilliant. Maybe Aaron can file on our behalf. I'm sure we have a winning case.

Ok, now I'm picturing Don knocking down a cubical wall and kicking back with his feet on his desk like that scene in Office Space. :lmao:

The next thing you know - he'll be moved to an "office" in the basement and then start walking around asking people if they "seen my stapler". :lmao:

Not a bad deal, it's a lot better then get your stuff moved out by Fri your done here:confused3

Oh yeah. :thumbsup2

I'm impressed you could react so calmly when your boss told you to clean out your cubicle. :rotfl2:

Well... when she first started talking about it she purposefully made it sound ominous! However, I know she likes to pull stunts like that occasionally so I called her bluff. Thank God I was right! :lmao:

Yeahhh, Im gonna have to ask you to move all your stuff into the basement... yeah and oh yeah Im gonna hafta confiscate your stapler... Thanks Milton..

No..no... NOT MY STAPLER! :lmao:

Yeah - have fun "working" at home Friday. :thumbsup2

:rolleyes1 Shhhhh

Sounds like a lot of work for a 3' move. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

That's what I thought, too! :teacher:

:rotfl2: Glad there's no basements here!

It was bleedin hot here yesterday. I had 93 deg F going home. Sux when the AC in the Subaru is dead.

Matt

That sucks! I'm getting ready to replace my A/C system soon. The compressor is on it's last legs. I might could help you out with yours. Any idea what the issue is? Ever figure out what caused the random stalls?

Yeah the random stalls was a poor connection on the battery terminal. It was also causing the radio/trip counter to reset itself. Go figure on that one.

As for the A/C, not sure. I think its the compressor in mine as well, but indications are that it works intermittently. I've had it serviced a few times, but they usually end up overcharging it, and when it make noise as I run it (groaning sound from A/C system) I take it in an they say it has too much coolant in it. :confused3

Matt, try turning your defroster on and setting the temperature as cold as it will go. I do this and it blows cold air, not just bringing in the outside air. :cold:

Ah... I thought it might have been something like that. Yay for cheap fixes!

Interesting. Wonder if the expansion valve is faulty. It's hard to find good shops that can accurately determine A/C issues.

Will definitely try that! Probably not today, as its 70's and rain, but the next hot day I'm all over it. Thank Randall!

Esp. one that's not going to rake you over the coals for "troubleshooting".

Just curious... does anyone listen to d-cot.com? Currently listening to the exit music for Soarin' Over California. :music:

I got to win the lottery, of course I'd still work, I'd go to work everyday at whatever I own, park in the front, say Morning to everyone that I pass in the building, walk into my office shut the door, go out a backdoor in the office, get into a twin car of the one I parked in the front and leave for the day:banana:,

No one would know if your there or not:lmao::thumbsup2

A early morning meeting a like 6am once a month would be mandatory, should be able to make rope drop then, but I would have to have a meeting if for nothing else to find out what they do at my company:confused3:rotfl2:

I usually go with one of the channels on Live 365. I fact, I'm queing something up now for background whilst I do chores.

‘Morning all…

What’s up?

Yah, that was your straight line of the day, so have at it… worst answer wins
(I'm not sure what you’d be winning, but the worst answer still wins).

Morning Guys!

Its a soon to be rainy Wednesday as Beryl makes its way up the coast.

Could you send some of that rain inland a might. I got a “Yard-Nazi” letter from my HOA a little while back and the rain would be a helpful component of my efforts to grow some “acceptable” grass.

 Too bad I STILL wouldn't have a window view!

Windows are nice and all, but…
I prefer a spot where I can see and hear folks coming and I don’t have my back to the walkway.

Music… at work… you’re allowed to have such… Luck-y
I’d trade my window for that.

I listen to the stations on Live365 as well.

And actually, if you create a Disney station on Pandora - they play some pretty good music from Disney movies over the years. My girls love it. :thumbsup2

I'm just now getting used to the place. Seems like a cool place to hang.

Morning!

I managed to grab a cube that is allllllll the way back in the corner and I can see who's coming my way :thumbsup2

Well... I just recently found my way of getting streaming music at work. Normally they have it blocked. Either way, though, I always have music playing to drown out all that "productive" talk going on around me. :rolleyes1
