What time is the DDA CMC dinner? I'm creating my Matrix. ;)

Doesn't Chris have an inspection licence?
Yep, he does, but I had to bring it to the dealership for him to do it. He had to run the computer thingy.

I am all legal now :cool1: No problems with any of it.

It's fun to see all of you planning your ADRs, I so wish I were planning some.

okay trying to make my packing list. Does any one think we would need rain ponchos for the kids in July?

You'll need some sort of rain gear. We always brought little rain coats for the boys (LL Bean) and a stroller cover. You never know when a shower will hit and it could come on suddenly when you are on a ride. Nothing worse than coming out to a soaking wet stroller.

Happy Mother's Day everyone.

My family ended up going out for Mother's Day. I ended up staying home as I feel like crap. Not sure why, I have a stomach ache and headache, plus my allergies are acting up.

I hope you had a good weekend.
Hope you're feeling better today.

We came home, planted our new plants, hung the new hanging baskets (not nearly as nice as Tammi's are... her nursery has amazing flowers!) and saw this:

Beautiful!

We had a wonderful day. It was by no means hot, but we were comfy in pants and sweatshirts. It was a bit windy, but it didn't ruin our day of fun. We arrived at opening and hit all the coasters first, with no wait. Then we mixed in some of the non thrill rides. We went to the Mother's Day buffet lunch. There was tons of good food, including Prime Rib and cake. Yummy. We had done everything we care to do by 4 PM and then let the kids play a couple of midway games. We ended up with 2 basketballs and a stuffed Scooby Doo on a wired leash. Not bad considering we only spent $10.

The Blitz Experience was 1/2 price today and Chris and Nick have been wanting to try it. My Dad ended up paying for them to do it, mostly because he thought that they would chicken out. They loved it. Of course Colby and Nick then had to do it. I paid for them and they let the 2 of them go together. I haven't uploaded our pictures, but here is one from the web.

That tiny ball above the cranes is the metal frame that they were strapped inside of
What a fun day but I know I couldn't do that Blitz.

I have a jammed packed day ahead of me. I'm only working until 9 this week as I have a bunch of appointments this week. Today I need to get the van registered and inspected as well as getting insurance. From there I need to squeeze in lunch before our 1 PM IEP appointment for Colby. The boys get out at 2:30. We need to run them home and get them changed, then run them to their lacrosse games. They are playing at 4 PM and 5:15 PM in a town not too far from here. That should put us back home in time for them to get to bed.

I hope you all have a wonderful day
:wizard:Goodluck with the IEP!

Well that worked out for the best. MS was able to fix the issue AND make ALL of my ADRs for me, even thought it's a split stay.
:woohoo:That's great!

YES! The kids ponchos at WDW are still quite long. I was able to get some at Target that fit better when the kids were smaller. Olivia would probably be OK with a WDW one but it would way too long for Virginia.

A friend just called to find out if I had an interview for that job in the school system that I want. I don't. She said that they are interviewing a lot of people on Thursday and Friday. It seemed like such a perfect fit for me, but I guess it's not to be. :sad1:

I am glad it worked out well in the end! :thumbsup2

Did you request an interview? Maybe they tried to contact you while you were away!

I requested an interview in my initial cover letter. I haven't received any messages from them on my home or cell phones. Do you think I should call and see? What would I say?

:hug:I'm sorry. I have found that you need to get your foot in the door at a school by subbing or volunteering. Interviews are usually given out to those people first.

Thanks, Deb! I volunteer a lot at the elementary school, but I don't think the district office would have any idea of that. Right now they are only taking applications for very specialized subject area subs, but I am watching for them to open applications for all subs.

Can someone please PM me Chanon's work email? Tks!

At least I don't have a lot of time to dwell on this today. I have been working like mad to get the program for our synchro meet set up and ready for the printer.
