I was going to do a private car service with a grocery stop, but I am now realizing that the store will not be open that early. We decided against renting a car since there are no shuttle launches during our trip to go see. So I will be getting grocery delivery. I have only ever Door Dashed drugstore small items at WDW. We are staying at Boardwalk.

I searched threads and many recommended Kroger. But it seems Kroger no longer delivers? Then I saw that with Walmarts new show a QR code policy it's not the best option either?

I am very cheap and I don't love paying Instacart inflated prices, Id rather extra money spent be in the form of tipping. Who have you used within the last few months?

I have Target 360, Walmart+, Amazon and DashPass subscriptions.

I've used Walmart and Amazon successfully. I was also not aware of this new Walmart QR thing. Are you saying you now have to be present when the groceries arrive?

We typically use Instacart for a Publix delivery and it has always worked very well for us. I never use them at home, but while on vacation, I don't mind paying the extra for it.

I have not used Walmart or Target delivery at WDW. I've used Walmart+ elsewhere while on vacation, and just had such terrible experiences, I don't bother with them anymore. I am a Target 360 member, but for whatever reason, I just always use their Drive Up option since it is so easy and convenient for me.

Hopefully others have some better DPs.

(And I'm sure you probably know, but if you have alcohol delivered, you have to be physically present to accept the delivery.)

We use Walmart + at home and at WDW as well. At home, we've had issues on occasion, but for whatever reason we've never had any problems with Walmart delivery at WDW.

I'm not sure what you are referring to with the QR code, though. We usually have our groceries delivered prior to our arrival and have bell services bring them up once we get there. Works great!

I don't know what the QR policy is, but we ordered from W+ late this past February and it was delivered to bell services without issue. They did have to make a substitution, but they let me know that a day or two before and let me select a preferred replacement.

One caveat: The cut fruit went bad faster than I would have expected. Otherwise, it was fine.

What is the Walmart QR code policy? I haven’t heard about that?

That’s what I saw a few saying a couple weeks ago in one area of the boards. Since you have to show your QR code you have to present when the order is dropped off.

I will see if I can relocate the particular thread.

Okay February was not that long ago, so I will have to follow up with the other thread and see what came of that conversation.

We have used Walmart at home many times. Normally no issues except for things like I order 1 lb of some produce and instead I get 1 of them. Like jalapeños. Was making jalapeno poppers and only 1 jalapeno showed up 😂

I can’t find this info now and it’s driving me crazy. Did I have a fever dream about Walmart grocery delivery.
I recall something, too. I think it had to do with deliveries at Universal resorts??? But I have used Amazon and Amazon Fresh and not had any problems. Fortunately, I have family and friends in the area and we take a trip to Publix.

So I found some stuff on the WDW Facebook forums but not in the boards where I thought it was.

Basically you have to be sure to check leave at door and leave instructions otherwise there is a code, not QR but rather a 4 digit code they have to verify in order to drop off.

I may just use Target unless anyone thinks they totally suck for resort deliveries.

I think on here it was on a post about either Terra Nova or Terra Luna and BS accepting a delivery even though they said it was against policy. And basically what you read on Facebook.

We do Instant Cart and haven’t found the extra too bad. We have also done Lyft so we could do Publix and the liquor store if we couldn’t add the stop during our private car service due to time of day, like you mentioned.

When we do use a car service, and the store is open, I do curbside pickup for Publix which is really nice too!!!

I did walmart delivery the last 2 trips. Not recent, May 2025 & May 2024. I order at home all the time. I do have Walmart+. I just made a fake order, with the Disney address saved in my account from last year.

At checkout pick Delivery, pick at Time. Continue. Review Order page will have the following.
It says: "Delivery/Instructions": can highlight "leave at door" or "Require Handoff".

Then beneath that: "Gate Code or other useful information" Hit the Edit spot.
In that box I clicked:
Other for "Property Type"
Nothing for "Drop off Location"
But in "Delivery Notes" The main entrance of Resort Give to Bell Services with My name & room number. (write that info in)

Tip well. My stuff always seems to come faster.

Our order with alcohol was rougher. It was delivered separately from the other items. But we didn't know that was how they did it.... Plus that driver got lost. He finally made it though.

Thank you so much!

I will just overpay Disney for any alcohol we drink.

I have used Shipt shopping with Target (Target owns Shipt)
Most of our shoppers have communicated well by Text Messages. In the special instructions, you can ask for your order to be delivered to Bell services, request your last name and your arrival date to be placed on your bags.
Note that some targets are small so you want to shop at a larger/extended selectionTarget.I use Target at 3200 Rolling Oaks Blvd.
(Majority of the time the app wants to pick flamingo crossings because I believe it’s closer to Disney, but the selection is smaller.)
If you have Target 360 delivery should be free.
I usually place my order the night before to be delivered the morning of our arrival day.

That happened to me before too with target 🤣🤣

So I use target 360 delivery when I stay at wdw. They will only ask you to go down if you order alcohol or medication in our case (Nyquil) which is annoying because the point is not to leave the room sick, but it is what it is.

Under normal circumstances, they are great. I love the strong communication that the Shipt shoppers give. Now I will note the app had a glitch when we were staying at BLT. And basically it looked as though orders were going through but it did not show up in my order history as processing so I was very confused and called and the agent told me to keep ordering that it didnt go thru.

I did it a couple of times and nada so I ended up ordering from instacart with no issue. Lo and behold the orders DID go through the next day and multiple shoppers were on the way 🤣🤣🤣 I had to tell all of them to cancel immediately! The shipt shoppers were upset because this was a glitch in the app and they then had to call Target and the wait time was over an hour for the known glitch. Not my problem! I already had my order that I needed the night before from elsewhere!

So just some advice if you try to order and it doesnt pop up on your order history do not reorder! I order from the often and its never happened before so i would use them again. They also offered to invalidate some gift cards I ordered but I could always use those and it is a pain in the butt when a glitch happens and you have to call or chat with them. I can tell the customer service agents are outsourced and they have given me wrong info more than once so that part does suck but the shipt shoppers are fabulous.

I am not a fan of ubereats either but ive already typed enough 🤣🤣

Thank you so much! I had screenshotted a person on FB who said to use Flamingo so thats what I wouldve chosen. I for sure want a Super Target for the groceries.
