Joe didn't want to wait in too many long lines. We only did Crystal Palace character meal. We did see quite a few exiting AK one day-Lizzy & I missed those because it was raining. We did skip Timon at AK because the line was long and it was too hot-we walked by Rafiki at MK because we saw him at AK but Timon wasn't with him there. When we got in Pinocchio's line Gepetto was with him but he left before it was our turn. We saw Pinocchio out a few more times but not Gepetto. I did a shirt with Joe-we used fabric markers-I have to take a photo-it came out great! At first I tried a clip board but then Mary Poppins told us just to pull the T tight and that worked much better so I stopped carrying the clip board. We saw:

Glynis - I hope Timothy gets to feeling better soon. And I hope your computer can limp along until a new one can replace it.

Deb - those sound like rough games!

For those of you needing to make ADRs soon, this is a series of posts from the Dining Board. It is s thread devoted specifically to the 90-day online booking system that is supposed to start any day now.

Just wanted to let you all know TA's can now make dining reservations online now..It's on our site!!!! So hopefully soon it will be available to everyone else shortly.:goodvibes

Yes the link is there, has been since this morning, but when you go in and actually choose a restaurant it says that the online booking is not yet available and to call in.

It's kind of been in different stages of working all day. It appears to be working now, I just successfully made some ressies.:cool1:

Another monday over!!! 4 more to go this year!!!
Today was such a long day--i ahd a ton of work to do (progress reports in addition to everything else!) and it was just one of thsoe days--the kids are getting antsy too!!

My brother's girlfriend and I ended up going out for a couple of drinks with my brother's best friend and planned a zoo trip to celebrate my last day :) Now i think im headed to bed---goodnight!!

Deb - I forgot to mention that the IEP meeting seemed to go very well! I am glad it had a better outcome than I think you were anticipating. :goodvibes

So today my co-worker's sister that has been battling colon cancer was being taken off of life support. There are a whole bunch of family issues going on, in addition to her being sick.

In addition a volunteer that had a brain tumor removed last year, had emergency surgery on Friday through her back to remove a tumor off her spine. They did not get it all, so she had surgery today but opening up from the front to try and get the rest of the tumor.

Both are in their 50's if that.

I hope you all had a good day.

Becky - I'm so sorry for your friends. Their families are in my prayers.

Deb - Sounds like a good day yesterday. I'm glad that Colby's IEP went well. Too bad about the boys' games. Sounds like they did well though.

Tammi - Enjoy your new found time!

Glynis - Hope your computer can eek out a few more months for you. I know exactly how you feel!

Elizabeth - I hope you get some good answers from the tests.

ditto thanks Tia

What type of problems are you having with your computer???

I hope Timothy gets some relief soon.

:wizard::hug: to you and your family. Before you know it you will be in Disneyland.

It shuts off for no reason. Just POOF, and it's off. The battery was checked and it's ok, the cord was checked and it was ok. Several other things were checked, and nothing wrong. So, we'd have to ship it off to have it diagnosed, and given the fact that it's about 7 years old, it's just not worth it. I'm looking forward to getting a new one.

I can't believe that our trip is so close! I need to finish Timothy's shirts, and then I can post some pictures. We didn't do a whole lot, but the ones we did turned out great!

We all had a good day yesterday as well.

There were 19 of us together and Six Flags and it went better than I expected. My sister's friend whose family went with us is the one who's (wild) kids I watch sometimes. Their family as a whole can be a little much sometimes so I was prepared for some splitting up. As it was, we did split up a bunch but it was in many different combinations of people. After the first hour or so we kind of set up camp on a bench in the kids area. From there, different people took turns staying with the friends' baby and sometimes the 3 little girls (20 months - 28 months) while others took the bigger kids on rides or went to do roller coasters, etc. I ended up taking the little girls on a lot of things for a little while along with my BIL and later got to do a handful of things with just Terra. In all, we had a good time and those without passes got to really enjoy their time. We also got good use of the $9 popcorn/cotton candy bucket that has free refills on the day your buy it, then $1 refills after that. I think we probably got 7 popcorn and 4 cotton candy refills throughout the day, if not more. Now Terra can get a treat on most trips without it costing a lot.

Afterward, Terra and I did hit Ted Drewes to finally get me my frozen custard. :cloud9: We finished the day by dressing all of Terra's Webkinz in their various outfits. Not totally exciting, I know ;) , but she was happy. Ever since we discovered that each Webkinz can have six different outfits "stored" on them and selected through a drop down menu, she's been wanting to go through and do that...so we did and it totally made her day.

Now, I'm just working on some basic plans for our Feb trip so that we can finalize the budget and she what were're working for. Really, I need to be headed to bed, but after a day of being tired, I'm not. I don't know what is with my internal clock, but it is completely out of whack. Hopefully, it can find a way to readjust soon though as it's driving me crazy.

It might be overheating. Is the fan working?

Or is it super dusty inside? This can cause it to overheat which causes computers to shut off. A can of spray air might help to clean it out.

I wish it was that easy. Alan uses this laptop and his own in his videography business, so he cleans them out routinely. Spray air is a regular thing around here.

My personal opinion is that the computer gods know that I want a new computer, and so they are working on making this one die. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

Night all! I'm off to bed!

It could be a hard drive, or video card, or ram. When my video card went bad on my old laptop it shut off at random. Computers can do some pretty wacky things when stuff starts going bad.

Hopefully it holds out and you find a super deal to replace it when the time comes.

So, I could use some restaurant advice...I need something new for Epcot or the surrounding area. We've done Mexico, Rose and Crown, Garden Grill and Coral Reef. I think this is one of the best place to work in a new restaurant, probably for dinner. So, what are our best choices, non-signature, for me and Terra?

And with that, I should really get to bed. Getting to sleep in an extra 15-20 minutes tomorrow doesn't really warrant staying up an extra hour+. Oops. Hopefully, I have a couple of days off soon so that will be nice. Good night all!

 There seems to be a lot of cancer stories lately. SIL was telling us this week about a coworker of hers that was diagnosed with Lung cancer just this week. They've given her 2 weeks to 2 months to live. SIL visited her yesterday and said that she has already lost her appetite and is beginning to lose weight. SIL feels that she won't make it a month. She is also in her early 50s. I've heard 2 or 3 other stories from patrons at the pool, all seem to have lung cancer.

I'm glad you all had fun. The boys have decided that if they can't go to WDW this year they can settle for multiple trips to SixFlags. There are more roller coasters so it isn't all bad. We noticed that our SixFlags is much cleaner than it used to be which is a huge improvement. Nick got a dippin dots in a souvenier dish so he can get refills on that for $3 for the rest of the season. We love the refill options. We've done the refillable cups both trips. $1 refills are so nice :thumbsup2

Fan's working just fine. Perplexing, huh?

Mine did that a while back. They ended up replacing the hard drive to fix it.
