Me too. I have to shave often. I actually have very hairy arms and legs, not to mention more hair than I would like on my face :sad2:
I have been blessed with the fact that I have very light hair on my arms and legs, so I can get away with only shaving every few days or so. In the winter it goes longer. I call it my winter furr.

Chuck just called. His mom basically had a heart attack but it was very mild. She was a heavy smoker until about 15 years ago so her lungs aren't the best either. They have her on blood thinners so she doesn't get a clot. She is staying in one more night so they can keep an eye on her. For the most part, she is fine.
All in all that is good news. :wizard: :grouphug:

I think I'm going to break down and get myself to a doctor for this sinus thing after Nicholas' game today. I have been coughing up junk of all sorts of lovely colors. It's so disgusting. Plus my voice comes and goes.

Elin, I hate to do this but I may have to postpone our date, depending on how I'm doing. I don't think you would want me around, coughing all over the place. How much notice to you need? And what do you have going on next weekend?

Tammi hope you get to feeling better :wizard:

Vicki glad to hear mil will be coming home soon, for you all.

Kristin had to open the main branch of the bank this morning... my nightowl was dragging, I can tell you. But she did not complain once! I think she may be growing up. ;)

We have nuns in town. They wear the long habits. Katrina used to wait on them when they would go in the restaurant that she worked in.

You have deer AND nuns? I need to come visit. ;)

You do have to cancel existing reservations before the system will allow you to make a new one for the same dates. I had the most awesome CM this afternoon. "Caldwell" took care of all the cancellations, rebookings and refunds and deposits. I plan to write an email because he was patient and understanding and took 90 minutes to take care of all of it! We have adjoining rooms, courtyard view requested at POFQ for the trip. I am fine with it now that all is said and done.

90 minutes? Holy cow! I am glad you got it all sorted out! :thumbsup2
Definitely e-mail. When I e-mailed about "Buzz" they called to thank me for my comments.

That is good news! I hope she has a speedy recovery! :wizard:

there are 2 I think here in CO....they are also called convent...one is just down the street from my work. That one is the only one I know that still has the nuns in their traditional habits at all times.

Growing up (Catholic) I took my first communion at the convent chapel. It used to be a working sheep farm with about 20 nuns/nuns in training. It now has 8. It does the most beautiful Christmas Eve services. You actually aren't too old.

The website says 34 is the max age. I don't really want to BE a nun, I just find them fascinating. ;)

Feel better, Tammi! :wizard:

So I STILL don't have an e-mail from that dad for the party tonight. DS called his friend last night to see if he had sent the e-mail, and the friend said his dad hadn't had time yet. OK, well, he is supposed to sleep over TONIGHT. When does the guy plan to get this info out? Seems to me it would have be SOOOO much easier to tell me the address over the phone the other night. Now DS is starting to pout and say he probably isn't going to the party at all. :headache: It's going to be a fabulous day. I can already tell.

my voice is back a bit so i think im still going to have a low key day---im getting observed next week and i need to be 100% for that!

See how you are feeling and then let me know. I don't think I have anything planned for next weekend, but will it work for you? I hope the doctor can give you a miracle drug, 'cause it sounds like you needed a night out.

I am glad you are getting your voice back, Jen!

I remember the first time I was observed as a student teacher. It was October 31, 1972. Why do I remember so vividly? Because it was Halloween and we were allowed to dress in costumes. I was a ghost with maracas. Why maracas, you may ask? Because I had laryngitis and could not utter a sound. And I was an elementary music teacher. I used pantomime and maraca-shaking to get my point across. The kids had a ball and my adviser (who is now my friend) still talks about that day! :rotfl:

Good luck. You will make it work!

:rotfl2:

I hope DS's friend's father emails. I know he was excited to be going to the party. Besides, it will make for a much better day at your house! ;)

Thanks!
The friend has auditions today for Regional orchestra, and the dad didn't know what time they would be home from that. OK, that part I can deal with. But at least have the courtesy to get the address out to the other parents before we need to leave the house to drive over there!

We need to stop at Target after DS gets his FluMist to get a present and a card.

Jen - I hope resting this weekend helps your voice come back! :wizard:

Elizabeth I hope ds hears from his friend :wizard:

Elin :yay: for getting your reservations switched around! No matter where you stay I think you will have a wonderful time :goodvibes I wish I were going at Christmas time again, I had no stress at all! One of the best Christmas's I have had for a long time. I think the not having to decorate & worry about going to family's had something to do with it. I told the boys that I would love to plan a trip every year over Christmas. Of course with work that is not possible right now :guilty:

Jen hope you are 100% by Monday :wizard:

But we will decorate! Both here at home and the two trees and wreaths will still go to WDW with us. Can't wait now that all is said and done. We have not seen the castle enrobed in lights. That and the Osborne Lights are the two things I am most looking forward to.

Good Morning!!

The girls and I had our slumber party night last night and we were all asleep by 9pm. What party animals we are!

Tammi and Jen- :wizard: that you continue to get better.

Vicki- :wizard: and 's for all of you. I wish Chuck's mom a speedy recovery.

Elin- Congrats on the new reservation!

Theresa- Can't wait to see the pics.

Janet- The pumpkin catapult sounds interesting!! We are headed to the pumpkin patch tomorrow with Dana and her family.

Elizabeth- Hope DS gets to go to the party tonight for your sake!! I just remembered you asked me about the charge for the DCT free tickets. My email says I owe nothing. Why would you owe $4, that's odd.

To those I missed 's and:wizard:

The girls and I are headed out to my mom's family reunion in a bit. Eric is staying home to work on homework. I think I've got him convinced he needs to clean the floors. ;) I got up early and worked on laundry and then the girls and I made an apple pie to take with us today.

Have a great day!!

Oh I decorated our room at Disney as well! I don't know Christmas just seems different to me now. Christmas was my mothers favorite holiday & with her gone it is just not the same for me. The boys are getting older & last year was so calming for me, I don't really know how to put those feelings into words. I would love to start a new tradition with the boys & going away last year was the ticket! hopefully this will be something we can do every year down the road. I know this sounds horrible, but at the moment I am not looking forward to Christmas this year.
