Alyssa has decided that the male anatomy is termed "hot dog pee pee."

Kathrin dubbed it "peenee butt" as opposed to a "tinkle butt." :rotfl2: What do you suppose goes through their minds??? :confused3

I hope you get your voice back and that Noah doesn't wake up until the soccer game tomorrow! Enjoy the weekend, Amy.

Robyn and Vicki -- good thoughts for your loved ones and for you.

The conversation around here has been quite interesting. I am so glad I am not Tom!!:goodvibes

I think I have crunchy tendencies but can't go full out crunchy. We buy some organic foods, try very hard to eliminate the high fructose corn syrup and are switching little by little to more natural foods. But my kids are vaccinated according their Pediatricians schedule and recommendations and I don't homeschool (I think I'd do harm to kids).

Gas was $2.93/gallon today!!! That was at Costco though. The lowest I have seen it was $3.04.

I packed a ton into today, my last regular day before the boys come back.:sad1: But it shouldn't be too bad as Emma and I leave Thursday for Dallas. :yay: :yay: So it'll be a short week. I also don't think our bank account could handle me being able to run all day/everyday! Eric is afraid he's broke and he's probably close to it!

After dropping Emma off at school this morning we came back and put Lucy down for a nap. Mo and I then went to Gail's to help her with a few things on the computer. Came home and the 3 of played for a bit before lunch. Then Lucy and I dropped Mo off at school at noon. From there we drove to the "big mall" where we shopped at Children's Place, Stride Rite Outlet(the reason we went there, Lucy needed new shoes) and the Disney Store. They had a bunch of stuff on sale and then an additional 40% off. From there we left, filled up the van and hit the library, it's right next to Mo's school and we had a half hour to waste. Picked Mo up and then I got my hair cut and then we stopped at CVS before picking Emma up.

My mom called me and told me that my Uncle Buck was being taken to the hospital with pnuemonia. He's been in the same nursing home as my grandmother for the past few months. He is 96 years old (his wife was my Aunt Elsie that died back in Feb) and I don't think he'll be coming out. :sad1:

:wizard:

Prayers needed for Chuck's mom. She was put in the hospital on Wednesday night. They gave her some meds and that took care of the immediate issue (which I still don't know what it is exactly). She is still in the hospital as they are monitoring her. Chuck headed over there today and I'll head over tomorrow. I didn't want to go today because I'm still not 100% after the sore throat.

:wizard: :wizard:

I hate all of you who don't have to shave. ;)
Me too. I have to shave often. I actually have very hairy arms and legs, not to mention more hair than I would like on my face :sad2:

You do have to cancel existing reservations before the system will allow you to make a new one for the same dates. I had the most awesome CM this afternoon. "Caldwell" took care of all the cancellations, rebookings and refunds and deposits. I plan to write an email because he was patient and understanding and took 90 minutes to take care of all of it! We have adjoining rooms, courtyard view requested at POFQ for the trip. I am fine with it now that all is said and done.

I'm glad that you got it all taken care of :thumbsup2

Work was busy as expected. One more night this week :cool1: :cool1: Thankfully people were more generous with tips tonight :thumbsup2 I need to get to bed as we have bowling in the morning.

Night all

Time for bed here. It has been a tad stressful and I need to sleep! I have a big evening planned tomorrow! ;)

I am glad that you have it all settled and that you had a nice CM.

Chuck just called. His mom basically had a heart attack but it was very mild. She was a heavy smoker until about 15 years ago so her lungs aren't the best either. They have her on blood thinners so she doesn't get a clot. She is staying in one more night so they can keep an eye on her. For the most part, she is fine.

Vicki :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Katrina did an Easter page. I taught her how to use some of my toys. We had fun playing with my Cricut. I need to buy some more cartridges. She is finishing some other pages.

So there is this channel with a bunch of nuns saying the rosary. I have decided it is the same footage and they rerun it every night. How common are convents with nuns who wear the long habits? I told DH I don't know if those nuns are in this country. I Googled and found one convent in CO, but are there lots? Do you guys know girls who have become nuns? I am fascinted by the whole idea of nuns. Unfortunately I am too old to become one. :rolleyes1 Oh, and I'm not Catholic.

there are 2 I think here in CO....they are also called convent...one is just down the street from my work. That one is the only one I know that still has the nuns in their traditional habits at all times.

Growing up (Catholic) I took my first communion at the convent chapel. It used to be a working sheep farm with about 20 nuns/nuns in training. It now has 8. It does the most beautiful Christmas Eve services. You actually aren't too old.

The homecoming parade was great this afternoon and the game was actually very, very fast (49-14) but the ref'ing stunk. I was taken out by a miramba on a hill....which is all my fault as I shouldn't have been pulling anything up the steep incline. I will post pics in the morning.

I have been told I can go take pics tomorrow evening:rolleyes: Then I'll also post those.

That is better news than I had feared, Vicki. I am glad they diagnosed it quickly and that she will be coming home soon. for Chuck and his family (including you and the girls).

The traditional convents that you are thinking of (think sound of music) aren't as common today, but there are various orders throughtout the world. Trying googling Catholic Sisters, as opposed to nuns, and you will get better results. Unfortunately you can't change your age, but you can change faiths. ;)

Good morning, Tammi! Here we are, posting at the same time again! ;)
