Days of Our Lives Watchers Part Two....

I just found this thread and love it!!! I have been watching Days for my entire married life. My husband got me started watching almost 20 years ago.
I am LOVING the new John. He is sooo much fun to watch. You just never know what he will say next.

They all look pretty cosy in those tents. Pillows and everything. But the real sick ones like Bo , Patch, and Kayla , even little Clarie are out in the broken plane.

I am loving John sense of humour too. That close up of his face with the hat on made him look really old when they were in the tent. I forget how old the two of them really are. Marlena does look good for a woman in her 60's.

Maggie was on my show today, haven't seen her in awhile.

Hard to believe, but Deidre Hall did turn 60 last Halloween. Drake Hogestyn turned 54 last September. Stephen Nichols birthday is today - he's 57. Mary Beth Evans will be 47 next month.

I'm away on a business trip all week, I'll have to wait until Friday night to catch up.

Even funnier i find is that my mom says that Hope was born right around the time i was in early 70's. (her character) On the show though she has accellerated in years to what maybe late 40's while i am still in my mid 30's.

I read somewhere how old all the characters would be if they didn't "fast-forward" their lives. It was really interesting. If I remember correctly Abby would be the oldest of all the young-uns, and Belle and Phillip would only be like 10. Shawn D is supposedly the closest to his actual age.

Funny how soap characters have babies around menopause. Hope (44 in real life) had a baby a couple years ago (after becoming a grandmother), Marlena miscarried Roman's baby a couple years ago, now Kayla is instantly pregnant in her late 40's.

I just figured with the harbor and all that it was on the NE coast.
Not that it matters,

If you have watched for years, anytime they would show scenes on a boat (like Bo & Hope sailing or Steve & Kayla's wedding) you could see palm trees in the background don't think, either in New England OR the mid-west

Eugene and Caliope now those are names from the past. When I was little I used to say I was gonna marry Eugene..

Do you mean Chelsea? and does anyone else find it odd that Shawn and Chelsea are now portrayed about the same age when if i remember right, Shawn D was like 11yo when Hope went Missing so he should be much older than the current college crowd.

Stephanie is Steve and Kayla's. Chelsea belongs to Billy and Bo.

The scariest of all is EJ...He was born less than 10 years ago and yet he is now around 30!!

There is a scene on you tube with a EJ as a 6 month old baby and in the same room a fully grown Sami and Lucas...

Peter Reckell has a newborn baby girl...I believe her name is Loden, and he is over the moon over her he says His wife is 37 or 38 i think. I'm surprised they even decided to have a child, as both of them seemed very 'into' their careers...they married in 1998...I'm sure she/they started thinking about their biological clocks

It is funny about EJ torturing Steve back whenever, he wasn't probably born went Steve 'died' and was missing all those years
