Days of Our Lives Watchers Part Two....

I got a phone call during today's show. I wanted to tell my good friend to just hang up already, but I couldn't. So I watched, but I didn't hear anything that happened.

I've had errands to do everyday this week and haven't been able to watch. Matter of fact, the last I saw it they were still stranded and the helicopter had just flown over. Sounds like I've been missing some good episodes. Bummer!

Well, I held out until the very end today. When Chloe was singing and the family were all putting the flowers on the casket I cried like a baby. Grandpa Shawn has been such a solid character over the years. I'm sure gonna miss him.

Too bad more family couldn't make it for the funeral. I didn't who the heck Kim was supposed to be until they said her name. Is that the same actress who played her before? she sure looks different.

Yes, it's Patsy Pease reprising her role of Kim....

I'm very sad Grandpa Shawn died, I've watched Frank Parker play him since 1986 and he is part of the show to me.....not sure why he couldn't just be recurring, which he and Caroline certainly have been these last few years, but I guess they get paid to be recurring and by killing him off...its someone off the payroll.

Thanks for the info. on Kim/Patsy Pease. One more question: are we supposed to know who Ava is? Because I don't remember her. Is she supposed to have been with Steve during the 15 years he was missing? Before or after Stephano got to him? Any info. on this story? When Steve was on the phone with whoever he made it sound like it was a looong time ago, but the girl looks so young.

No not that I know of.. This one played "carly" on gh for awhile so that would have stuck something to me if I seen her before.

I think it is finally to give Victor a storyline and see if he will get together with Carolyn. If that is the way it should be good.

I loved seeing Patsy back today.

I'll admit it, I was crying when the Brady's all went up to the casket, and then at the end with Caroline crying over it...

We do not know who Ava is or what her part in his past is....she did have a picture of the two of them she pulled out the other day...and who is her father she keeps referring to and who was Steve talking to on the phone??? Makes for good story and makes me want to watch every day.

Peter really did a good job of acting at the funeral also, he made me sad, he loved his 'Pop' the most I believe......and yes, the flashbacks were great, didn't they all look so young

Thanks Mickey4ever. I thought maybe I had missed something somewhere along the way as I hadn't watched regularly for years before the Salem serial killer. Looks like we may be gearing up for a good old-fashioned Days adventure then. Or maybe they will introduce a new villain since Stephano is out of commission and Victor is using his powers for good.

When did the Dimera's start an advertising agency? Did they take over Titan, Basic Black, or Mythic Communications? I mean no one seems to work, so let's give them their own company. And isn't Belle supposed to be in nursing school? Seems like she dropped out, I mean breaks aren't this long.

I missed a few weeks and FF through so many of the episodes today I miss alot.

No, I don't think she was the one in Cincinatti. I think she is someone we don't know about yet. Maybe after Stephano brainwashed him. We will soon see.

I don't believe her to be the gal from Cincy........I'm not sure that gal was his wife, she was just saying that.......but who knows, the writers are all over the place anymore...even revising history and not realizing some of us fans have been watching for many a year and we KNOW our Days history...

having Caroline and Victor tell Chelsea that she, Shawn and Victor were all great friends back in their day, and that Shawn travelled a lot with his work, so she was lonely and had the affair with Victor... Shawn was a fisherman and ran a fish market, what out of town trips do fishermen take and Victor was in Greece years ago...revisionist writing at its best...I hate it
