Today is going to be a busy day, the itenerary reads, Breakfast at Kona and the Magic Kingdom. As usual its 5:30 am and everyone is awake which is a good thing since we have priority seating for Kona Cafe at 8:30, DW goes down to Mara grabs coffee for everyone while we are showering and getting dressed. I decide to try and reboot the pedometer, I take the batteries out, shake it, and put em back in. Viola, it seems to be counting every step
. We grab our stroller and the stroller we are sitting for another Dis boarder and head for the car, and its off to T&T. We get some decent parking once at the T&T, and then we have to make a decision, Monorail to the Poly or Walk it... we decide to walk it and as we walk into the entrance the Monorail pulls up.. oh well. Breakfast is wonderful and the coffee is better, I have ham & cheese omlette, DW has pancakes, DMIL has a fruit plate and the monkey has a little of everybodys. While there the DW and DMIL buy 3lbs of Kona to take home.
Monorail from the Poly to MK and walk right into the park at 10:00 no lines no waiting (except for the security). First order of business is up Main Street, hang a left and on the Jungle Cruise, about a 10 min wait here but it wasn't too bad, the fast pass booths had covers on. We had a great guide who was very punny. After the Cruise it was POC, again we walked right in, and sat right down, no line at all, they were even sending empty boats through. After POC it was Splash Mountain DMIL baby sat, same story, no line, empty boats and people weren't having to exit to ride again. After this its across the park to Tommorrow Land and right onto Alien Encounter, the DW sat this one out with the monkey. Then its Space Mountain and everyone wants to ride so its baby swap time, I get the pass from the Cast Member, DMIL & DW ride, and guess what, thats right no line. The come off in the Gift Shop then its our turn. DW has a theory that the left line is a little rougher than the right one so we proceed to test her theory. In our opinion the left side is a little rougher than the right... hmmm maybe a subject for a poll. After Space Mountain its off to Buzz Lightyear, where we walk right on and the monkey and I proceed to beat DW and DMIL
. Then its to the Tommorrow Land Transportation & Tours for a once around. We stop at Cosmic Rays for lunch at 12:15. Then its to Fantasy Land, as we come through FL we notice a sign outside of Mickey's Philharmagic saying "Sneak Peek" and in we go.
Let me say this Philharmagic is very cool, Although I imagine there was some rough animation in what we saw, some of it was blurry, but all in all it was excellent. I'm not giving any of the story away though, but we rated it the best of the 3d films in the park.
After that it was IASW, not that we like it that much but we love to see the monkeys reaction, she dances, and her face lights up with the best expression ever. And I get to take lots of photos... if you were blinded by my flash... sorry.
Then its to Haunted Mansion which promptly puts the monkey asleep, we load her in the stroller and notice the 3:00 parade is going in so we cut behind the castle, through the rose garden, through the shops on Main Street and out the exit before the parade gets there. To the car and back at AKL by 4:30
Dinner was at Jiko, we had an excellent server who did a wonderful job of putting up with a cranky toddler. Whenever we get off of her feeding schedule she gets really emotional until she gets fed. The food was excellent, the atmosphere wonderful and the restaraunt was half full at 7:00.
