Day 2 of 6 : Oh there it is
Day 3 of 6 : Ooooo look at the pretty snow
Day 4 of 6 : OMG the snow is still there
Day 5 of 6 : Oh come on melt
Thursday
Sorry for the delay getting the rest of this posted but life gets in the way
Josh had a bad night and he kept waking himself coughing. We got our usual wake up call at. 7.15am, even though I made the point the night before of ringing them and telling them to cancel the call. We had breakfast booked for 9.15am. Josh didnt eat much at all, although he did seem to be pulling himself around. We walked once again across to the parks, we never felt the need to use the buses the whole trip. Today we went to the Studios.
My very warm little Fella
Tracey and Josh wrapped up and in the sun
Snow capped mushrooms
Mickey and the deep blue sky
Me and Josh did Cars four times while Tracey queued for Crush (40 mins wait) but worth every minute very good ride. While we were riding on Crush we met up briefly with Tracey (JBmarley) and I believe it was Jacob, Peter Kaye was apparently around at the same time but somehow I missed him. Would have loved to have shouted Garlic Bread at him.
Lightning McQueen smiling despite the cold
Then it was my turn to queue up for Crush so Josh and Tracey headed for Animagique (very good Josh loved it) and Cars. This was the only bad queuing experience I had while at DLRP and it wasnt so much people pushing passed it was more of a personal space issue, every time I moved even slightly forward the family behind me had to instantly fill in the space and snuggle into me, well at least they kept me warm.
The inevitable Crush Seagulls photo
And the equally over photographed queue area
When I came out I found Josh and Tracey whizzing happily around on Cars
After we met back up Josh was very tired and he fell asleep in his pushchair. While Josh slept for an hour I rode Tower or Terror (about 20 mins wait). I do like this ToT but would be better if it had the random drop sequence like WDW.
Sometimes housekeeping can be a bit lax
And maintenance arent much better
We then walked over to Disneyland went to the Emporium bought some Minnie Mouses, mugs and magnets to take home as presents. Got everything shipped back to the hotel we have to collect it from the hotel gift shop after 8.00pm tonight.
Couldnt resist taking these pictures
Such vivid colours
Went to Victorias bought a Croque Monsieur each for me and Stephen (approx 6 euros each) and 2 coffees also bought a hot chocolate for Josh when he wakes up. He woke up just as we were finishing up and enjoyed his hot chocolate.
After we had finished snack time we went on Buzz Lightyears Space Rangers (again).
Josh had his own money and bought another space gun. He now has the Buzz ride gun and the Silver ray gun type one. There is nothing more annoying than him in the back of the car with both of them going and not being able to reach him to take them off him.
We then once again had to go over to the dark side and go on Joshs favourite, favourite ride Its a Small World there was no queue (surprisingly).
After this we headed out and went back to the hotel as Josh asked to go back as he wasnt feeling well.
Forget Global Warming, the ice caps are expanding
Missed having a burger here this time
One of these days we will have a go on this
I am lost for words
Had a quiet afternoon watching poor telly and reading as Josh just couldnt be bothered.
Went to Cape Cod for dinner we had 6 oclock priority seating. Buffet very nice but not as good as our first visit here although not sure why probably because Josh was feeling off. Josh only had 2 ice lollies he just wanted lots of cuddles all the time and spent the entire length of the meal sitting on our knees.
When we headed back to the room after a very quick dinner we packed while Josh was asleep. He fell asleep almost as soon as we got back to the room and was very warm but not to the point of running a temperature, we know as we took our thermometer. At one point we were very close to ringing the emergency number to ask if they could arrange for us to see a Doctor but he seemed to settle and cool down.
I went to the gift shop to collect the package we had shipped back, reception and the bar area was absolutely chaotic with conference attendees, not sure why they felt the need to wear their badges once they were back in the hotel but they did.
The Reception area a lot quieter than usual
The neatest our room ever looked (was told not to turn the camera the other way)
Got everything from the gift shop and as Josh slept we got our cases all packed up and ready to be picked up by Bell Services in the Morning. Everyone had an early night as was going to be a long day tomorrow.
