Where can I buy them and what are the most used and best flavors?

glo is our expert on this subject. I copycatted her when I ordered mine from www.netrition.com

I haven't tried any of the syrups yet so I can't say which are my favorites :)

Super WalMarts usually carry vanilla and hazelnut in the sugar-free (do watch out... you want the sugar-free syrups). They're in the coffee section.

You may also be able to find them at coffee shops (I can find them at Boston Stoker), or in grocery stores. Sometimes TJ Maxx or Marshalls get them in, back in the housewares section with all the nuts, oils and that stuff.

If you have a Cash 'n Carry around you, I hear they sell them pretty cheap. I've also heard you can find them at World Market.

Torani also makes a sugar-free syrup that can be substituted for DaVinci (Torani used to be made with glycerin, but the new formula doesn't have it anymore.)

You can also contact www.davincigourmet.com and see if there are any distributors in your area.

If you're going to use them for cooking/baking or general sweetning, you'll probably want vanilla for sure. I like the chocolate, some people don't. I've heard that the Dulce le Leche is WONDERFUL in the Beachgirl's Cheesecake recipe.

I have a Kaluha flavor and Amaretto, but haven't opened them yet. :)

You can also thicken them up (they're the consistency of a very thin pancake syrup) by adding some xanthan gum and blending well... makes them a great pancake/waffle/whatever syrup.

I have four with one more on the way....

I love the chocolate
creme de minte
kahlui- Kahluha flavor
and Dulce de Leche...

I just ordered French Vanilla...for my coffee :)

Make sure you look for the Sugar free ones...they are carb free too.

dizneegirl that's a wonderful idea about thickening the pancake syrup. That syrup is perfect in every way except texture. I have xantham gum, I will try that this weekend.

I can heat after I add the xantham gum and blend, right? It won't break down if I heat it?

Karen, I have ordered from netrition.com for the Sugar free Davincci syrups and they are incredibly fast with shipping!! :) I have the Chocolate, Vanilla and Kahlui Caffe, but I have only tried the Chocolate so far and it is really good!! :)

It won't break down if you heat it. It's the sucralose that makes it heat stable. I use them in baking all the time... great stuff!

If you have a stick mixer, you shouldn't even have to heat it to blend the xanthan gum in... Just remember to start small & add as necessary! :)

I make Hazelnut breves for us at home every evening! 2 shots espresso, 2 tablespoons Davinci SF Hazelnut syrup, and fill up the cup with steamed 1/2 & 1/2!
