I love Mya and Dimitry. I hope she makes it to the finals. She deserves to be there. Like Kelly too. She has definitely grown on this show.

Speaking of Joanna and playboy, did everyone see Mr. Playboy in the audience yesterday- Hugh Hefner. I was cracking up.

Aw, it was sad seeing the two Bee Gees brothers without the third one. It just wasn't the same.

It was great seeing Cheryl dancing again! The producers should make her dance on every show.

I'd be so steamed or crying that I didn't get in. I wouldn't be able to dance. I thought that was kind of insensitive on the part of the producers.

Java, I think you should tell your DD - in a abbreviated sort of way. Kelly would be a good role model for her. Teens go through so much were they think every drama is the end of the world, it would be good to have a story of another teen who made it through a lot & your DD got to see Kelly's growth & journey.

Ummmm I have a few questions but the big one is.....Where was Alicia Keys?????????????????????????

Wasn't she supposed to perform tonight? I think she cancelled and that is why they made them dance.

My other question is why does it really matter that Joanna was in Playboy? Talk about demeaning a woman. If I had a body like that, and was paid a lot of money I would do it in a hearbeat. Brooke Burke also posed in Playboy if I am not mistaken. It's not like she did was Carrie Prejean did. That to me is more distasteful than what Joanna did.

I thought Joanna had done a great job, Derek is an amazing teacher but sometimes I think she loses her steps, but not often. Her scores show that, I honestly did not think she was going to last until now. When I voted I voted for Derek, didn't matter who his partner was. I enjoy watching him dance lol.

I am going to put out there however....Mya ain't gonna take the trophy its gonna go to someone else!!!!

Okay, apparently that Dial Idol got the predictions/results right.


Mya & Dmitry Chaplin - Safe - they got in as having the highest votes.


Donny Osmond & Kym Johnson were the next couple SAFE!


It was down to:
Kelly Osbourne & Louis Van Amstel
Joanna Krupa & Derek Hough

With Kelly going onto the finals next week

And Joanna got the boot! You couldn't really tell she was upset because of all the botox. Her lips did get poutier though.


This is my very unscientific and uninformed opinion:
I think the people who very objectively liked Mya as the best dancer, (which she was,) naturally voted for Mya.

Then, like here, there were so many people rooting for Donny & Kelly, that they each took a good portion of the votes. That left not enough Playboy fans left to vote for Joanna.

I totally agree. Their heart didn't seem into it until they were abouy half way through the dance and then they got in the groove.

I am TOTALLY done with old has-been singers from the 70's. Last week it was Rod Stewart and tonight it was the Bee Gees. I would rather see some modern talent that I don't like than to see the bands of my youth looking so worn and sounding so terrible!

I agree. It was practically obscene watching Rod Stewart trying to dance like he was still young. This week, you could tell the one Bee Gee brother, with the glassess, just wasn't into it, without their third brother. He didn't have a guitar to hide behind.

Well, I'm obviously happy with tonight's results. I had been hoping for an all-female final earlier in the season but Donny wormed his way into my affections. Even if I disagree with the vast majority of his personal beliefs. He was so genuine with his disappointment and anger over the first dance last night, how could you not want to give him another chance?

I think that all three will give very interesting freestyles next week. Mya will have the grace and athleticism in her corner. Donny will have showmanship and chutzpah. And Kelly will have her sweet charm and Louie . I can't wait!

Next week is all about the dancing for me. The couple that "brings it" will get my votes. Any sentimentality goes out the window and I *will* vote against my favorite if I don't think they danced to their potential.

Well, I guess I am in the minority, but I am NOT happy with the results. Warning: rant filled post ahead. Stop reading now if not in the mood for ranting.

I can't stand Kelly, haven't been able to since the beginning. I am SO tired of listening to her whine and boo-hoo. I wanted her to go away about 6 weeks ago. Yes, she has improved, that much is clear. Yes, she has pulled herself back up by the bootstraps IRL and oversome her demons, and for that I give her kudos. BUT this is a dancing show, and I will never believe that her dancing skills were anywhere near as good as Joanna's. And she is just so dang ANNOYING!!

For that matter, I think Natalie should have stayed instead of Kelly as well, but that is another rant, for another evening.

I loved Joanna and Derek, she is beautiful and talented, and IMHO he is the best male pro. I don't give a rat's patootie that she posed/is posing in Playboy, that's her business, and more power to her. I don't think Joanna could have beat Mya, but I would have loved to see her try.

Way to go America... DWTS Fail. Epic Fail.

I suspect they all knew they would dance if they were booted tonight in advance. I don't think they seemed at all surprised by it. I agree it might be difficult but I got the impression it wasn't a surprise.
