Kelly truly has grown incredibly. She proved she was able to step up to be in the finals.

I agree with everyona about Mya. Meh!

DONNY!!! WooHoo! He really pulled it off tonight. I was afraid when he did the cha-cha that it seemed like too much of an easy dance to viewers who don't know better. I thought he needed to do more of a partner dance with the intensity of the Argentine Tango in order to beat Mya.

But, with her so-so freestyle dance and Donny pulling off that Hollywood/Vegas dance with intricate steps and some (painful looking ) jumps & lifts thrown in, I thought he did fantastic!

Based on tonight's dances only, I feel that Donny should win. Both of his dances were good.

Kelly did well. Her first dance was good but I felt that her freestyle could have been better.

I didn't care for Mya's Paso and her freestyle was not good at all. It did not rate 9's. It was a first week dance, not worthy of a final.

I cast all my votes for Kelly. I know she messed up a bit tonight but to me she embodies what the show really means. I love seeing someone who has never danced before really give it their all and improve so much. I just love watching her.

Also, can I just say that I think the Argentine Tango is my favorite dance style of all.

I don't understand. Is the freestyle all the matters? Considering Mya out-danced the heck out of Donnie and Kelly in the other 2/3rd's (i.e. the majority) of the dances tonight, I think Mya was the best dancer tonight. Was her freestyle choreography the best? No. Is that her fault? No.

I went into tonight completely unbiased because I like all of these dancers. I don't play favorites like some people do. Obviously everyone has their own opinions, but if I was to place money on one of these dancers in a real dancing competition, I would be willing to bet on Mya. She is the best dancer in the competition according to me. Most entertaining? Well, that's where opinion comes into the mix. Being a lover of dance (having danced throughout high school), I care about the fundamentals, execution, and skill as opposed to the choreography. Hence, I gave Mya all of my votes (Luckily I got through, but I had about a 10% success rate).

I just don't understand the quickness to bash Mya on these boards. You would think that she was a mean, impolite person who didn't know how to dance. But everyone is entitled to their own opinions, which is what makes shows like this so interesting and why everyone will be watching tomorrow night.

She is the best dancer in the competition according to me. Most entertaining? Well, that's where opinion comes into the mix. Being a lover of dance (having danced throughout high school), I care about the fundamentals, execution, and skill as opposed to the choreography. Hence, I gave Mya all of my votes (Luckily I got through, but I had about a 10% success rate).

I used to dance ballet & disco in a former lifetime. I used to love to watch certain dancers like Mikhail Baryshnikov, because not only was he one of the best dancers, but there was an extra special something magical about him. Same for the NYC Ballet.

I also watched the Russian ballet he defected from. Great stringent technique and discipline, but real snoozers to watch.

I've also tried to watch the professional ballroom dance competitions when PBS-TV has their pledge drives and airs them. Yes, again, great technique and choreography. But, frankly those competitions put me to sleep.

Personally, I don't agree that Mya's second dance was better than Donny's. I was watching carefully and he did hold his own against the pro male dancers. (IMO)

Mya just has slinkier hips and it makes her seem like she's doing more. But, I don't think she's grown in hr dancing the last couple weeks. And I think the judges nailed her on it by saying, we expected more form you in your last, final dance.

Donny had wardrobe malfunctions and foot flubs last week. But, I felt that if he was given a chance at the finals, he could hit one out of the ball park. I was proved RIGHT!

I believe the people who voted for Kelly feel they were vindicated in their votes last week, too. Both of those dancers rose to the occasion and grew. IMO, Mya stayed at the same level. Yes, she can dance, but I don't get "magic" when I watch her dance. There is not that extra special quality.

Who is Mya anyway? I know Kelly and donny but don't know who she is.

had I known that Dimetri was on this season I would have been glued to this show. I absolutely love watching him do dances that are in his genre. However, tonight's freestyle was all wrong for this Mya person AND for him.

I think Donny will win because he's so popular and well loved. However, to say he held his own with the pros made DH and I lol. I thought that group dance made it hard to watch the stars because of all 3 pros. They were just hard not to watch.

My DVR cut out half way through Donny's dance. I'll watch it on youtube tomorrow. I was very disappointed with the Free Styles tonight. There were very few lifts and *wow* kind of moves. I also hated the group dance. It told us really nothing.

I loved her first dance and I think she deserved a better score. She and Louie had a passion and a connection that was not there before. I liked her footwork and her holds. Nice dance! Her Free Style ... darn! I wish she had not have messed up. I can't vote for her no matter I like her.

I am just not impressed and I don't get all the high scores. I finally figured out why Mya doesn't wow me. It's Dimitri. He does not showcase her like he should. He dances for himself and NOT for her. She can "rock it" and Dimitri doesn't bring attention to it. Her first dance wasn't great and her Free Style ... she was dancing only at half time for the first part of the dance. Dimitri should have allowed her to do what she wanted.

I thought that Donny's cha-cha was sloppy and didn't deserve the scores it got. However, I like Donny and his "go for it!" attitude. I missed his Free Style except for the first 30 seconds and that was also not great. He seemed to stand there for a long time with his arms out waiting for Kym to launch herself into them. I understand he got a 30 for that dance.


So ... who am I going to vote for online? Mya who had been good all seaon but with a boring partner? Or Donny who has been interesting but has made a lot of mistakes along the way? I am leaning toward Donny but I need to see the rest of his FS dance.

BTW, I think they have loaded up the dancers too much. In the past I thought that they have only had to do 2 dances for the finale. This week they had to do FOUR and I think that really effected the quality of the dances.

I don't like Mya at all...She is a good dancer but I think she is quite full of herself. Kelly , although very nice, shouldn't have made it to the finals imho. I love her personality..but she isn't as good as the others. But then again, she is easy to root for since she is very well liked and kind of an underdog.

Kelly was robbed of a 30 tonight!!!

Her first dance was outstanding and she really should have gotten much better scores.

I just don't get it with the judges love for Mya, she is totally full of herself and no offense, she is not a pro, so the freestyle is not really up to her. She is a great dancer but she has always been a great dancer. Her Paso wasn't all that great compared to Joanna and Derek's come on now. They had an AMAZING Paso, I also remember Drew and Cheryl's Paso too that was awesome.

Donny was awesome tonight!!! He was on fire... Kelly did well but I was so upset when she had her first wardrobe malfunction and then when she fell but her smile and her laughing, she was thrilled to be there and gave it her all.

Go Kelly!

It has always been about Mya, her scores were wayyyy to high especially for the Freestyle, she should have had Kelly's scores.
