Daily Housekeeping at OKW?

We are staying at Old Key West for the first time, and I was wondering... Is there daily housekeeping? Do they bring you new towels etc. each day? Thanks for your help!

IF...IF you booked directly with disney/CRO, then yes, you get daily housekeeping and fresh towels.

OTOH, if you are staying on pts ("renting pts" or as a DVC owner), it's a "home away from home"-type deal and the answer would be "no."

for a stay of 7 nights or less you get a quick trash & towel service on your 4th day. (your trash is emptied and any towels you have used will be replaced.) they are also supposed to replace any used toiletries.

for stays of 8 nights or more, you get a full cleaning (including changing the sheets) on day 4, T&T on day 8, cleaning on day 12, etc.

if you decide you really, really want daily housekeeping, here are the rates:

Additional Full Cleaning Rates:
Studio/Inn Room - $30.00 per day requested
One-Bedroom - $45.00 per day requested
Two-Bedroom - $60.00 per day requested
Three-Bedroom - $75.00 per day requested

Additional Trash & Towel Rates:
Studio/Inn Room - $15.00 per day requested
One-Bedroom - $20.00 per day requested
Two-Bedroom - $25.00 per day requested
Three-Bedroom - $35.00 per day requested

As chalee explained -- there are different housekeeping policies depending on if you have booked through Disney CRO or if you are using Disney Vacation Club points.

Also, if you want towels, just towels, not trash service, towel packs (4 bath, 2 hand, 4 washcloths & a mat) are $6.

If you're in anything but a studio you'll have a washer/dryer in the room. You could always throw the towels in if clean towels everyday is a must.

DVC is a timeshare, which means all expenses are paid through member dues. It's only fair to the members that those who want extra services pay for them.

When you reserve a room through CRO, housekeeping is included in the rate. If you are renting points and want to add housekeeping, add that amount to the rental rate and compare if you are still saving money.

It depends upon how long you are staying.

If you are staying 7 nights or less, you will receive trash & towel service on day 4 (check-in day is day one). If you are staying 8 nights or longer, you will receive full housekeeping on day 4, trash & towel on day 8, then the cycle repeates.

Are all the toiletries replaced with a full cleaning on day 4, such as toilet paper, bath/shower/soap stuff, and the laundry pack??? We stay for 8 days ourself at SSR in ten days and this is the first time at DVC as a member.

There should always be extra paper, usually in a cabinet under the sink. The rest of the toiletries and soaps are replentished on full clean days, and maybe trash & towel days as well.

There will be 8 sets, 4 in each bathroom. You will have a washer & dryer in your room. Throw them in the washer when you leave for the day.

It's $6 for a set of 4.

Most timeshares do not. Some provide a midweek cleaning, some will swap out pool towels, some will replace DW detergent and the like but not all will do any of these. Some don't even provide pool towels. DVC will bring you all the towels you want, simply at a cost.
