Cypress Harbour maps anyone??

I am staying at Marriott's Cypress Harbour for my upcoming trip to MCO. I understand that the layout of the resort is quite spread out and location does tend to matter. If anyone has a map of the property, or specific recommendations as to location, please, please, please let me know. I know that buildings 50-56 are the newly refurbished units, and have put in a request for one of those buildings, but a map of the property would be fantastic, as I would like to be close to the fitness center and other activity hubs. Thanks!

you are aware that their owners get first request rights.

that say I would go for 52 or 53 - or 62 or 63...

my relatives stayed in 55 and loved it.

We stayed at Cypress Harbour last year on a trade and were able to get one of the refurbished units. It definitely doesn't hurt to request. Sure, the owners have first crack at the refurbished units, but if they have openings they'll let you have it. That said, as far as the layout of the resort, all you have to do is call the resort directly and ask them to either fax you over the layout of the resort or mail it to you if you don't have a fax. This is a very beautiful resort, have a great trip!

Thanks for the info! If I am an owner at another Marriott Vacation Club property, do I get owner's rights at this one? I am not using this an exchange, it is a comp. Being that it is a comp, I don't want to get the bottom of the barrel accomodations . I know I should just be happy with whatever I get, but I can't help it - I want a good unit!

If I remember correctly, the low 50's buildings are by the clubhouse pool and marketplace area. We stayed there a few years ago and loved the location. The activities area with the rentals etc. are farther away but there is a little boat that takes you there or you can walk. I don't remember the resort being huge. Not like the Vistana etc. I walked around the whole thing once and didn't think it was that big.

We will be there in 2 weeks and I will be requesting a building closest to the clubhouse pool as we can get. That was a fun area.

Which resort (Grande Vista/Cypress Harbour) did you like the best?? We will be staying at the Grande Vista in June. Any information on the resort and which building to request is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry but I can't help you with the Grand Vista as I've only stayed at Cypress Harbour.
