Do any of you have any that doesn't look cheap?

I would love a chocolate CZ pair of earrings and maybe a ring. I am not trying to pretend it is real diamond, I just really like the look. And I am not a jewelry person.

Any suggestions/brands/places to order, etc...????

Thanks,

Dawn

I have a few Pandora rings that have CZ in them. None of them have large stones though. I think as long as you stay small you're fine.

I have a couple of pieces of Diamonique from QVC as well, and they have held up well. I actually have an evil eye bracelet that I bought to match a necklace that I bought elsewhere that is real diamonds and saffire and you can't tell the difference. I also have a number of Sworski pieces, which are great.

JTV has a line called Bella Luce, its all simulants/synthetics that look pretty amazing and are VERY reasonable....one could say I had a JTV "problem" back in '12...:ssst:

I haven't bought any recently, but I also have several pieces of Diamonique from QVC in 14k gold and Sterling Silver. They have held up very well. They do not look cheap, and people believe they are real.

It is very easy to tell the difference on larger stones because the CZ will be flawless in color and won't have the little black spots inside like a diamond will. People that will identify them for what they are will know they are cheaper and hence think they look cheaper. But personally, I think it's pretty in its own right. And that's all that really matters. If it's pretty to you and you like it, go for it.

My fingers swelled with arthritis and I had to get a larger ring. This one I have had for about 5 years from JC Penney. I have received a lot of compliments on it. IMG_4229.JPG

I just got a pair of Swarovski studs, I'm not sure if Swarovski are CZ or something else. They look just about identical to my diamond studs. Well at least they do to me and the few other people that were here when I got them and played guess which is the real diamond.
They are a normal, reasonable size, about the same size as my real ones. They came free with something else I bought. I was actually really surprised by how good they look. I'll probably wear them more than my diamond studs because I won't care about losing them.

Another wearer of Diamonique. My grandma loved QVC, especially their Diamonique jewelry. One year for Christmas, she got me a pair of Diamonique stud earrings. I wear them almost every day. She got them for me about 10 years ago and they still look new. They clean up beautifully with any jewelry cleaner I've used. One day while shopping at a mall, my DD and I were looking at jewelry and the sales woman noticed my earrings. She came and told me they were beautiful and asked where I got them. I told her my grandma got them from QVC and they're Diamonique. She didn't believe me, she thought they were real. I promised her they were not.

I have a couple pieces of Diamonique jewelry. My favorite is a tennis bracelet in 14k. The stones are small and bezel set so they don't ever catch on anything. I was with my mom one time and we happened to stop at a jewelry store so mom could get a new battery in a watch. Someone from behind the counter remarked what a nice bracelet I had!
