Cruise Meet -April 21, 2012 - 7 Night Eastern Caribbean

I've booked a private snorkeling trip in St Martin, hope to book parasailing on Castaway Cay,but not sure what to do in St. Thomas. Does anyone have any suggestions? Nothing offered by Disney excited me.

Appreciate any suggestions.

I liked the picture idea, I'm not on facebook, but hope pics will be posted her as well. I will try to find a pic to post of my family. Chloe would love to meet someone prior to the cruise. She would feel better to have familiar faces in the kids club.:dance3:

I just booked my flights so I'm all set for this cruise! Bring it on!!!

Catgirl -- I'm going on the SeaTrek helmet dive on St. Thomas and, if I have time, the aerial tram to Paradise Point, but was going to do that on my own and not through Disney.

We will be there with you!

WOW! I have missed a lot the last few days. I had some family to tend to. First of all I want to welcome all the new people to our group...the more the merrier:)

I am soooooooooooooo excited I finally just called in my final payment to my TA. I was hoping to have it paid off last w/e so I could start booking...oh well. It feels really good to not have to worry about that anymore. I will check back in here later to either gripe or celebrate what I could book for Remy and Palo:rotfl: Now to pay for the air and pre and post hotel.

I think we are going with a private tour in St, Maarten and I think a snorkeling tour in St. Thomas id still available.

We have figured out our FE and will start on some of them this W/E! actually my sister and her fam are sailing in a few days and she asked my oldest DD if she would craft some gifts for her. My kids are very talented in the craft dept.:thumbsup2 So ahe is paying her for supplies and for the work she is putting into it. What a great job for my DD and she loves doing it.

I did switch a dummy date to the 7 night Med. cruise for June 2013:banana::cool1::woohoo:!!! I am very excited, but a bit overwhelmed. There will be a lot of planning involved! That is ok b/c I love that part!

I was wondering if we should tell everyone about the FB page, sO I am glad everyone has been discussing it already. I will try to add more pictures sooner. That does help a lot once onboard.

:woohoo: One more thing to check off the list...Excursions :goodvibes
We've booked
St. Maarten: Private island tour with Bernard's Tour
and
St. Thomas: Full Day Caribbean Sail And Snorkel To Turtle Cove And Honeymoon Beach through DCL.

All that's left to do is pack and go!

I booked Bernard's tours, too! I didn't have to pay online when I filled out the reservation, do you pay ahead or once you are there? I booked Doubloon sail and snorkel through DCL. I got Remy and Palo dinners, but not the brunch...of course. I will try once onboard. I feel like this is real now! Made one FE gift today.:hippie:

I bet Chloe would get along great with Mikella. She is 6 1/2. Mikella LOVES the kids' clubs, so I'm sure she will be begging to be in there quite a bit! ;) Here is a pic from our September Dream cruise, if you'd like to show Chloe! What kind of things does Chloe like to do? Mikella is in Daisy Girl Scouts, takes dance (and will probably be performing a dance at the Family Talent Show aboard the Fantasy, if they have those like on the other 7 nighters). She also loves to read books, play with her AG dolls, and Lalaloopsies.

I sent Bernard's an e-mail on Friday asking how much a private tour would be, they e-mailed me back stating the price and that there would be a $50 deposit and to fill out their online reservation form. But nowhere did I see where or how to pay the deposit and I haven't heard back from them yet after filling out (and sending) their form. Perhaps they'll get back to me tomorrow since it's the weekend. :confused3

Thanks so much for the picture! Chloe is a bit older than Mikella, Chloe will be 9 on May 1st, but will love meeting friends of all ages. Chloe loves to dance, swim, and is transitioning from her fairy & mermaid dolls to Monster High Dolls:scared1: She still loves Disney, but I know this cruise will be a real awakening for her. Up until now, she thinks the characters are real. I'm sure she will figure it out this time.:sad1: We were at WDW for her 7th birthday and she realized that Nemo couldn't possibly be real (he needs to be in water), but figured the real on was swimming in the ocean somewhere:rotfl:

I will try to find a recent picture and post.

Thanks again MicellaCinderella, you both look great!

Whoops! Guess I just noticed "7th birthday" on your signature line. I didn't pay attention to the fact that it was 2 years ago! :rotfl:

On-line check in completed! St. Maarten, "Island Drive and Explorer Cruise". St. Thomas "Coral World and Butterfly Garden" & "Golf at Mahogany Run" (Dad). Can't wait!:cheer2:

OMG! THAT DRESS IS ADORABLE! Wherever did u find it? My dd is 6.5 too, also takes dance. She love, love, LOVES the kids clubs. Couldn't get her out of there on our last cruise.

Thanks for the information. I did not realize that you can't transfer ressies to Costco anymore.
Transferring a booking from DCL to another travel agent can technically be done, but you wont see the incentive that you would get from your agent.

It used to be that you could get an OBC by booking aboard and then transfer the reservation to your agent and get their bookign incentive as well.

DCL made a change so that its not profitable to transfer the reservation.

Costco then said the wouldnt take a transferred reservation. They could not give their cash card incentive because of the change.....

Our family is doing the Bernard's tours also. We recieved the email confirmation and payment is due upon arrival for the tour. We also booked Doubloon sail and snorkel through DCL.

Time seems to be moving faster!! 81 Days , 12 weeks :woohoo:, or 2 1/2 months :thumbsup2, until sailing! :yay:
