Deb- I just got my confirmation back from Bernard last night and he didn't say we owed a deposit. Said payable upon arrival. Now I am really confused. Our tour is not private, 4 of us. Maybe that is why. Is yours private?

Just watched the Cake Boss episode on the Dream, I got so excited seeing everything. OOOOO I can't wait!

Our family is doing the Bernard's tours also. We recieved the email confirmation and payment is due upon arrival for the tour. We also booked Doubloon sail and snorkel through DCL.

Time seems to be moving faster!! 81 Days , 12 weeks , or 2 1/2 months , until sailing!

Funny we chose the same tours I think they will both be great!

Transferring a booking from DCL to another travel agent can technically be done, but you wont see the incentive that you would get from your agent.

It used to be that you could get an OBC by booking aboard and then transfer the reservation to your agent and get their bookign incentive as well.

DCL made a change so that its not profitable to transfer the reservation.

Costco then said the wouldnt take a transferred reservation. They could not give their cash card incentive because of the change.....

Our reservation was booked by our friends while on board the Wonder in January last year and I transferred it to Costco in June. When I called to pay it off, they told me I would receive $xxx cash card after the cruise. As far as I know, we still have the $100 OBC from DCL. So I guess I should count my self as lucky

We are doing a private tour with Bernard's and just today gave them a deposit. Bernard himself was the one who called me to get my cc information We are looking forward to sightseeing at St. Maarten.

Just booked shore excursions-not thru DCL. St. Maarten island tour and tiki hut snorkel on Pinal island, and St. Thomas Sail and snorkel with the turtles at Buck island. So excited! Best part-don't have to bring car seat!

I've been MIA for quite a while. After quite a lot of thought we have decided that we will not be able to go on this cruise.
My job will be ending on March 6 and since I haven't found another job yet (and the final payment is due next week) we can't postpone the decision any longer. We are in the process of rebooking a cruise in November so we can go to the F&W festival and meet up with a bunch of people that we met last year on an ABD tour. Hopefully by the time that cruise comes around I'll have a job and they will allow me to take the time off.

Since I was the one that set up the FB page I've made everyone that was in the group (as of last weekend) an administrator, so if you have access to the page you can now add anyone to the group. To do so, just friend the person and then add them to the group. If someone could please add Cindy to the list that would be fantastic!

When I called to pay it off, they told me I would receive $xxx cash card after the cruise. As far as I know, we still have the $100 OBC from DCL. So I guess I should count my self as lucky

Unless someone in my traveling party has a specific request, I think we're going to pretty much sitck to his basic tour schedule, except we probably won't spend too long at the beach.

This famous tour will consist of the following stops.
* Pickup at the cruise pier
* 9:00 am to 10:00 am sightseeing including stop at the French and Dutch border
* Brief stop at Oyster Pond over looking the island of St Barths
* Swim at Orient Beach for up to two hours, as time allows.
* Marigot - open market (French Capital).
* Sunset Beach bar ( Maho Beach ) 40 minutes where you can see the planes land right over your head.
* Cayhill overlooking Simpson Bay marina.
* Great Bay overlooking Phillipsburg and harbor.
* Return to Philipsburg will be between 1:30 and 2:00, depending on factors.

Check your reservation on the costco website and see if the cash card is listed. I found this out a few years ago when they told me they would not transfer the reservation that was made with Disney.

Frank, if you find Bernard's tours online you can see their offerings. We booked a group tour, not private. It is a small bus worth of people it looks like. I bet they have several buses. We have booked this one, so maybe you would ride along with us. It is only $40 pp, not bad!
