Are the crowds at DL & DCA still affected by the terrorist attacks and now war?

I was there last week, Oct. 8-12, and was really surprised at how many people were there!

The lines weren't extremely long, up to 40 minutes for Indy (usually only about 20minutes though), and 45 minutes for Soaring (usually about 25 minutes), and it was very manageable. Most rides were a 15 minute or less wait, and we only used fastpass once for Soaring. Though it wasn't extremely busy, from what I read here earlier, I expected a much smaller crowd!

I stayed at the Grand Californian, and it was VERY busy there, in terms of crowds walking around the hotel. I was talking to the bellman the day we checked out and he said that things have really been picking up since the attacks. Though I appreciated the shorter lines, I'm glad to see that things are starting to get back to normal.

Was there on Monday, the 15th. Used Fastpass only for Autopia. The longest line was maybe 10 minutes (including Indy.)
