Crowd Prediction Increases - Early 2022

I just got an email from touring plans regarding crowd predictions for early 2022 and there are some major increases (examples below)! I know it's pretty far out but hoping this means they are predicting some kind of normalcy next year.

I just noticed the same thing for my trip. I was wondering if something had been added to the calendar. Going from a crowd level of 1 to 9 makes a big difference!

I got an email last night as well. We have a trip planned for the first week of March, and days have gone from 3-5 to 7-10.

What on earth was that explanation for those early Feb dates? 1 to 9? That's insane.

TP has some good services but the crowd calendars are wonky. You’ll probably get at least 3 more emails between now and then with adjusted numbers.

In the years leading into 2020 WDW became very adept at not only spreading crowds thru the year but also adjusting operations. Large crowds then lots of hours/staff, low crowds then dial back. That reduced the difference between seasons when looking at wait times and crowd ‘feel’. There’s still some difference just not as pronounced as it used to be.

2022 is hard to predict with all the variables thrown in. Still a good indicator is WDWs ticket pricing. And more likely than not it will be busier than usual. Beyond that, for most weeks outside holidays and special events, Tues thru Thurs is usually slower and the weekend busiest. TP’s precise predictions aren’t really better guesses than that.

I got this too (dates 1/26-2/10) and trying to take it with a grain of salt, but part of me is like “level 9 crowds? Nooooo!”. Hopefully it won’t be that bad
