Can I keep a small crossbody bag on for rides or do I have to remove it and place it in mesh pocket on back of the seats?

I wear a Vera Bradley hipster and have never had to take it off. (granted I'm a ride chicken and don't ride Everest, Space Mountain, Kali, TOT, or RNRC. :)

I wore my crossbody bag on all the rides when I was at WDW in April and never had any problem nor was requested to put it somewhere else.

I have a small VB crossbody bag and always wear it on rides and have never been told to take it off. The only coaster I ride is BTMRR so it might be different for the other coasters.

I kept mine on for almost every ride. I took it off and wrapped the strap around my wrist on RnRC and Space Mountain.

I have a hip pack / festival belt thing I plan to try next time.
Its like a fanny pack, but a little nicer.
Think I'd have to take that off?

I've been told to take my VB crossbody off on EE and RNRC, but not all the time. It seems to depend on the CM. I've reached the point where I just take it off as a reflex.

I keep it on for non-roller-coaster rides, though.

I normally take it off for anything coaster like and put it in the floor of the car between my feet. I've been told more often than not to take it off for Tower of Terror, even with bags that worked fine to put the seat belt over the bag, so now I remove it by default on that too. Everything else, if it fits comfortably while sitting in the ride vehicle, I leave it on.

I wear one. Only ride CM insisted I remove was Soarin' .............?

I carry a Vera Bradley crossbody and I keep it on during most rides.
The only attraction that you should definitely put it in a compartment on the ride is Soarin'.

Just an FYI, you may want to take it off for the Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor. I left mine on and they put me up on the screen and told me I didn't need a seat belt because the theater wouldn't be moving!

 That happened to my mom once too, when we were both wearing crossbody bags. Then they moved the camera over to me and said it must be a family thing :rotfl:

I almost always keep my crossbody on! I might take it off if I'm on a ride that bumps me around, as I wear glasses so there's usually prescription sunglasses in my bag, but usually then it just goes in my lap. I've never been asked to remove it!

I wear a smaller cross body purse and I took it off for RnR and Soarin'. Oh and Kali... didn't want it getting soaked! Otherwise, I think you'd be good.

Been to Disney many times and always wear my cross body bag on rides. That being said I don't ride EE, TOT, SM, RNR. However, I was asked to take it off once on Star Tours. I showed the CM that it was attached to my body but he made me take it off anyway.:confused3

Wore a tiny one on every ride except Star Tours. They made me take it off and then the seat belt wouldn't buckle after I took it off so I had to leave my family on the ride and ride a other one alone. It was really weird. On a different day I saw them make another lady take hers off too. (I had learned from experience and had taken mine off then ). Don't understand why as it was easily buckled into the seatbelt and it isn't a wild ride by any stretch of the imagination.
