On the bus ride from the Hilton to MK Monday we sat infront of a couple with a son around 3 or 4, well half way into the trip she starts to chat with her hubby or so I assume he was about their trip and future trips. She was being loud so I couldn't help but listen... she says to him, you know I don't know if we will come again, he says why and to that she replies well...
Disney is not a place for children under three or older than six, I could not possibly imagine our son having fun and enjoying the characters after age 6 and under three have no need to go anyhow they are to young...
At this point I am starting to crack up, as I'm 23 and LOVE Disney as does Dfiance, my sister who is 18 and parents, etc... and we had two very happy toddlers with us who loved seeing "mick- a mouse" as they call him.
She countinues to tell her companion that when DS turns six she thinks trips to the recyling plant would be better than Disney and that he would enjoy that more.
OMG I think, Dfiance says to goddaughter "Madison would you like to go see the recyling plant next year"... I couldn't hold back I started to laugh.
DS then asks her "mommy what does Magic Kingdom mean"... she replies that a kingdom is a bunch of lands that a man rules, and that it is ruled by Mickey Mouse... etc... ok not so funny until the DS says he doesn't understand and she says to him well if you had toliet kingdom, then who would rule that, etc... OMG!!
Just as I thought it couldn't get any better, she tells DS that she will not ride any rides with him and that she thinks he would have more fun looking at the sights and such and maybe he was too old to meet the characters...
I was just thinking the whole time, Why are you here then!! LMAO!
When we got off the bus I couldnt help but tell Dfiance' very loudly how our godchildren 2 and 3 were having such a blast and how much we all loved Disney and how could anyone not like Disney... etc. And then he said, "but honey I think next year we will visit the water treatment plant"....LOL! She gave us a dirty look.
