ArriveCan only asks if you have a negative test result. It doesn’t really ask much actually.
In my case I was rather sure that it was a false positive anyway and as long as you possess a document that says negative you are good to go. Trust me when I say I’ve read the Canadian gov website so many times that I could probably quote it. There is nothing there that says anything about this sort of situation.
I belong to lots of travel groups and there have been dozens upon dozens of stories of this very thing. People get the easy anterior nostril PCR with a pos result then go get a proper NP swab and it’s neg. The NP is the gold standard and no one will dispute the result.
Great, that's good to know! That will be my plan, if I get a positive I will get one more, and if it's also positive, then I guess it will be another 10 days in Florida, which, I actually wouldn't mind lol!!
However, we have the great convenience of ending our trip after Disney at our parents Florida House so I don't have to pay for accommodations.
