Crazy? Last minute WDW trip

ArriveCan only asks if you have a negative test result. It doesn’t really ask much actually.
In my case I was rather sure that it was a false positive anyway and as long as you possess a document that says negative you are good to go. Trust me when I say I’ve read the Canadian gov website so many times that I could probably quote it. There is nothing there that says anything about this sort of situation.

I belong to lots of travel groups and there have been dozens upon dozens of stories of this very thing. People get the easy anterior nostril PCR with a pos result then go get a proper NP swab and it’s neg. The NP is the gold standard and no one will dispute the result.

Great, that's good to know! That will be my plan, if I get a positive I will get one more, and if it's also positive, then I guess it will be another 10 days in Florida, which, I actually wouldn't mind lol!!
However, we have the great convenience of ending our trip after Disney at our parents Florida House so I don't have to pay for accommodations. :-) And we can also both work from home. Just have to not get COVID in the next 8 days before we leave next Friday.

LOL....a few hours ago I got an email from the feds explaining testing and quarantine following travel. A little late I think....I've been home for 3 days.

We got ours on day 5 IIRC after our Christmas trip so I guess they've improved there? Plus a couple of emails from switch health saying we needed to do our day 8 (or whatever it was) swabs even though we were exempt.

Great system they have, no way anyone could mess it up...

I'm all for saving paper but it would be better if they handed you the info at the time of testing with a follow up email later. Why doesn't this info get sent at the same time as your ArriveCan receipt?

I also got the Switch emails ....they did start out with something along the lines of if this doesn't apply to you, ignore.

We actually did get a paper with instructions from the customs agent at YYZ in December.
