I think the whole idea of jogging or working out during your wdw or DL vacay sounds insane!! We walk 10 miles a day when we do DL...I assume we'll do just as much in wdw... You guys can have the jogging trails lol!!

That's why I'm 44 and look better than most 25 yr olds! ;)

It'll probably only be once in fourteen days that I manage it, but it's on my bucket list! If I'm a runner (or aiming to be) then I want to run at Disney at least once. I can't get to any of their marathons or races, so a quick little run will do! We're pretty commando at Disney and yet I'm still up and absolutely *bouncing* every day, so energy isn't an issue - I can rest on the flight home!

Yes, when our kids were in PNP, we could put it in the vanity area length-wise under the clothes rod, between the wall and the counter. We still had room to access the sink and get in/out of the bathroom. When we did this, our toddler would stand up and play with the curtain, but now with the sliding doors, I would think it would be nice and dark for a baby to fall asleep.

Thank you! That knocks one worry off my list.

One other question: To those who have stayed at both CSR and deluxe, how does CSR really compare. I know we will miss having a balcony a whole lot, but I'm not too worried about the resort being spread out (we enjoy walking), and I don't think I'll mind having a smaller room. I was kind of bummed about not having the option to walk or boat to a park, but my 2 year-old loves buses, so maybe that will be a good thing for us. Other than those few things, will it really be that different?

I think the biggest difference is not being thisclose to one of the theme parks. To me, there is not a huge difference in amenities between deluxe and moderate resorts. The only thing I miss going from deluxe to moderate is being able to walk to a park.

Another thing that seems to be very important to a lot of folks(not us) is having inside hallways versus outside and balcony's. I totally agree with maxieemom about the amenities, even though you will see posters say that deluxes have a lot more amenities to offer.

The reason we keep staying at CSR is we really feel we are getting Deluxe value at the Mod price. It has all the Deluxe amenities: Fitness center, salon, spa, sauna, probably the nicest lounge at any WDW resort, plus outdoor lounge, largest hot tub at WDW, the pool is generally considered the second best at WDW next to SAB. The biggest complaint you hear is the size, but now there is the Business Class location which puts you close to everything and is still way cheaper than a Deluxe.

I personally don't care about indoor hallways. I like the fact that its spread out, there's always a quiet place to relax. The only thing the Deluxes have that I would really like is the location and a balcony. We always stay 10-14 nights so the difference in price for us is $3000-$4000, I just can't bring myself to pay that kind of money for a balcony and walk to Epcot.

Cafe Rix is the only spot you can fill yourself. All other spots refill for you including Laguna Lounge.

The inner loop is .75, the whole loop (through the ranchos) is much larger.

I didn't know you can also refill at Laguna, good to know. I found the jogging map online, it says the outer loop is about 1 mile. I guess I'll run both.

We use Garden Grocer every trip there's no charge. Our order is always waiting for us in bell services when we get there. They have a big cooler to keep stuff cool and will gladly deliver to your room with your luggage.

The jogging path would be ok very early in the morning, but too many people around later in the day. I used the tread mills and bikes in the fitness center. It was all brand new as of 2011.

Great, I'll probably use GG or WGS. I would only run the paths at dawn anyway so crowds shouldn't be a problem.

I guess runners are a little crazy but it's a good crazy.

perhaps you are right, but it is like an addiction; I have to have my morning run watching the sunrise while listening to something playing from my Ipod. That and with all the food I eat while in WDW, the 10 miles of walking doesn't burn enough for me. :rotfl2:

Yes, we have made it.
Staying in Casita 5. The place is Beautiful.

Today was mainly unloading truck and enjoying the pool. The Girls coudn't get enough of the waterslide.
I just enjoyed doing something other than driving! lol

Tomorrow is Magic Kingdom.
The rest of our stay is going to guess which park today is for the girls.

Info for those wanting to know.
We did the online check in about 2 weeks ago.

When we walked in to check in, everyone was really nice and we didn't have to wait to get checked in. Seperate line for us and the lady behind the counter was super nice. In and out in less than 10 minutes. Coudn't ask for more!

Hello. We'll be staying at Coronado for the first time in October and I'm wondering which building I should request. I'm thinking either casitas 5 or cabanas 8a or b. we will probably be using the pool quite a bit and won't really be eating at the restaurants much (might go to pepper market a couple of mornings for breakfast and maybe once for dinner). However I do like to refill my mug every morning and am guessing that the pool bar refill area won't be open early in the morning. Oh and we will have our car so bus stop location is not important.

So any thoughts on which building I should request? Thanks!

One question for you. When you did online check in, did you request a particular room location?

Thanks Claire and Hoosier, feeling less stressed about it now. Just want everything to be perfect!

Closest buildings to the pool are Cabanas 8A and Ranchos 7B.

Even though I had requested 8b, I got 7b. I ended up liking that location a lot. We faced the quiet pool and were close to the Dig Site.

I went ahead and did early online check in for our stay at CSR. When it came time to put in requests I was given the option of either Cabanas, Ranchos, Ground floor, second floor, fourth floor, and close to transportation. My question is this...which buildings have a fourth floor? We are hoping we get Castitas (4 or 5...close to transportation). I chose the options close to transportation and went ahead and put fourth floor, thinking that Casitas are the only buildings with four floors. I also know that these are just requests, not guarantees, but I'm just trying to set us up for the best result if we do get our requests! Can anybody help me with this? Thanks!

I am sure that the info is here in this thread but not on the first page.
Do you pay the 10% service fee w/ ddp?
