My memory is failing me....

I don't seem to recall a freezer section in the fridge at CSR...is this correct?

Hi!

Wondering if there is a spot where I can find the listing for movies under the stars in August? Also, does CSR do the marshmallow and smores in the evening for the kids? This is our first time staying at CSR. We stayed at POR last time and they had marshmallows in the evening but we never had the chance to go. We want to do it this time!

Also, are there any other must-do activities around the resort that we should do with the kids?

Thanks!

Can someone tell me where the refill station near the pool is located and what time it opens at?

If you google online you should find something. There are pool activities continuously throughout the afternoon. There is a nightly campfire and a nightly movie. No smores, but they do marshmellows on a stick. It's at the pool. Their schedule you get at check in says times subject to change and that in case of rain the pool parties, game and movies will be shown in the arcade. Each time we've been there it's rained (lightning) at some point and they were totally cancelled not in the arcade.

It's located between the volleyball pit and the playground at the Dig Site. I think it opens at 11, but I could be wrong.

I'm not sure if the link will work for you, but here's one to try.

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/online-resort-check-in/

My reservations are linked to my WDW account and when I log in, the "online check-in" icon is there for me to click on (once I'm within 60 days of the check in date).

You must log in to your WDW account (or create one if you haven't already), then link your upcoming reservation (click on the "My Disney Experience" icon at the top right of the WDW site).

Fingers crossed this works for you! :thumbsup2

No the link comes up as a server error.
I have the my disney experience on my phone and logged in on there but cannot see where to go to?.I have gone onto my resort reservations and i can see our stay at CSR but nothing to say check in?.x.

So today is the day to book packages for 2014...I jumped online and plugged in my dates and CSR's rooms are all unavailable except a junior suite king at 432 per night. Ugh. Wonder if there's a convention that has all the rooms blocked. Our dates are Jan 25 - Feb 1. Ugh. I really don't want to change our dates. May have to rethink CSR. We really wanted to stay there again.

:confused3 I just tried the link and it is working for me. You are within 60 days of your check-in, correct? The "check in online" option won't show up before that.

Have you visited the "UK Trip Planning Forum" on these boards? I think that would be the perfect place to ask about online check-in. Surely someone can help you. Please let us know what you find out -- and good luck! :flower3:

How do you get into the concierge? I want in!

Katie

Business Class? You have to book it. It's really a "Club Level Lite" since it's only open 7-10am and from 5-10pm. :)

Those are my dates too. I couldn't believe this morning that everything was unavailable. The week before and week after are all open. I don't know if they hold rooms for a convention and then release them to the public later? I just cannot believe that every single standard room is already sold out! I really wanted to try CSR this trip. I think I'll book POFQ again and wait and see if CSR opens those rooms.

Well I booked! I'm a nervous wreck about it, so much more $ than disneyland for us!! The crazy thing is, the my experience thing says I am exactly 300 days out! How is that for a nice round number! Lol

Pumped! Just Booked for 1/21-1/26 @CSR. Rates were exactly the same per night as last year, but now just hoping for Free Dining or a certain % off the rack rates when the "deals" are released in the fall!!

Defect found in Disney's guest room refrigerators
by Leah Zanolla
Jul 10, 2013

Disney hotels will not have refrigerators in their guest rooms for a few months. A possible defect was found in the refrigerators used at Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Aulani, so they have been removed or disconnected. Guests will receive a letter in their rooms explaining the problem, but the fridges will only be removed from unoccupied rooms or when current guests check out.

This does not affect Disney Vacation Club rooms, Fort Wilderness cabins, the Family Suites at Art of Animation and All-Star Music and the suites at the Disneyland Hotel. These rooms all have larger refrigerators.

There will be a limited number of fridges available for guests with medical necessities, but these are not guaranteed.

It is expected to take up to four months to get all the refrigerators replaced.

There used to be places that rented small fridges back before the resorts offered them. They they all go under when the change happened at the resorts?

I would first see if you can add a request for a fridge to your reservation, for medical reasons. Even though it's not guaranteed, it never hurts to ask. In case you don't get one, you could add a cheap styrofoam cooler to your GG order and keep it filled with ice from the ice machine. In a pinch, I've heard of people using the garbage can as a cooler, filling it with ice and placing it on a towel. That's a lot of cold stuff, though. I might consider reducing my order to the bare minimum or getting different items that don't require refrigeration.

There's just no way to tell when CSR will get the new fridges. I read through a thread on this board yesterday and DIS-ers had called to see when their resort of choice was going to get theirs swapped out, but I don't put a lot of stock in the answers they got. No matter if they thought they were calling "THE" Resort, they were talking to a call center and I doubt that information is actually known by Disney as of yet.

To both of you... If someone came to me with a medical need for a fridge Id bring them my mini fridge, but I am sure if you notify them they will make arrangements for medical reasons to make sure you got a fridge.

Called and added a refrigerator request to our reservation (not a medical request)

CM said no time frame for replacement. He also said that his memo did not say that the studios at the DVC were excluded. He said that he thought their refrigerators were the same size.
