Never stayed here before.....visited many times.....

just booked a stay for the 24 hours at the magic kingdom with a side order of Star Wars weekend.....

We are planning our summer trip and are hoping to stay at CSR. We are thinking of having a few cases of water delivered to the resort. Does anyone know the best place to order from? (we only want water, so Garden Grocer, etc are out because of the minimum amount you have to spend)
I have also read that CSR charges a fee for things delivered to the resort. What are the fees? Just curious if it's worth it….

Here now and man this place is HUGE. This has got to be the biggest resort on property? We lucked out and got casitas 1, but the dig site pool looks like it is at another hotel it's so far, and i run half marathons!

After speaking with the DW, we have decided to leave our reservation at CSR and see what happens. I slightly skimmed the first page and only saw that the pepper market (on site)I could refill the mugs from the DDP. Is this true?

My wife originally made the reservation for the stay, but whom do I contact about ensuring/at least trying to reserve so we are in prime location (1st pickup) for the bus stop to the parks? And what would be the best location based to stay at CSR based on distance to refill mugs(since I'm assuming I will be the one doing most of the refilling), closest distance to first bus pick up for the parks, and for myself the gym and possibly one of the 3 bars for some down time for my DW and I.

Any one have any good ideas while we are there I'm traveling with DW, niece, and sister in law.

Thank you! Are there things to do at the pool bar/by the pool like at other resorts(movies, karaoke, etc.) things I can leave with my wife to do after we went to the park and leave my niece with her mother haha.

It's hard to ensure any location unless you pay for them (ex: preferred room), but you can call and ask to be close to a specific location. There are no guarantee since it's all based on availability. Based on what you ask, I say you should book preferred rooms or Club Level.

You can refill the mugs at Rix and at the pool during the day but It's not possible when the pool bar is closed.

The buses were pretty empty when we went there. That is one of the things I like about CSR. Wherever we took the bus we had room to sit and it was efficient.

There are movies and fire and marshmallows at night near the pool. The pool is awesome and so is the spa.

I wouldn't necessarily mind paying a little extra if it meant a more enjoyable experience, while I don't mind the walking, having a 5yo who will already be beat from days at the park could make for an unpleasant nightly experience. Do you know roughly how much the upgrade would be?

That would be really nice, and are the spa prices listed on the CSR page of the WDW website?

Actually, CBR is bigger. And all of the values have more rooms than CSR, but I'm not sure if they are bigger land-wise. Pop Century is the largest with almost 1000 more rooms than CSR has

A half marathon must be a lot shorter where you're from because its a 5 min walk from Casitas 1 to the Digsite pool and a beautiful walk at that.

you walk 7-10 miles a day at the parks. and an extra 500 feet is to far?

They supply the marshmallows and big sticks. There is a big fire pit right next to the pool.

If it's early, El Centro is your only option....

Everything is provided free of charge although very few come either for that or the nightly movie.

I'm hoping we get somewhere near el Centro as my kids will want to fill up early as they did before, so I'm hoping I can let them go alone while I sort out getting the smaller children dressed (I have 5).
Being Brits we've never had proper s'mores, so when I mentioned an evening fire pit on one of our quieter days they liked the idea

We will be staying at CSR for two nights in May 16 & 17. Our kids would love to be able to participate in the pool opening on Saturday, May 17th. What time should we be at the pool to participate?

It might vary depending on time of year, but I believe it's at 10am in December when we go.
