Can't decide which of these moderates to stay at.

We like quiet rooms, and have daughters, 5 & 7.

what do you recommend?????????????

I would recommend CSR but it will come down to what you like. You can visit my website below ofr pictures and info. Also visit Epcotfan's site for some cool video clips.

My DD loves CSR because of the main pool area called the Dig Site. She would spend all day there if she could.

We all love the transportation and Pepper Market.

Good luck deciding!

I think the pool at CSR is more fun and impressive for kids, though the remodled pool at POR sounds like they have added a few cute things.
CSR is more colorful and exciting than the sedate POR. I am staying at POR on my next trip as I will be alone and enjoy the gardens. If I had kids with me I would go to CSR or CBR.

I would say CSR, especially if you have kids--as a previous poster said, the themeing may appeal to them more. I personally found Riverside to be on the bland side and really wasn't impressed with the resort. I LOVED my stay at CSR and found it to be a very quiet and peaceful resort. I have a lot of info about CSR in my resort report. I hope you get a chance to look at it!

We love POR. Our 7 year old son and 3.5 year old daughter also love the resort. It has a nice pool and you also have the option of going over to POFQ and using the Dragon pool. The Alligator Bayou section has trundle beds which are great for the kids. We also like the onsite restaurant, Boatrights, and prefer the POR food court over the CSR food court.

CSR, however, is also a great resort. We give it higher marks on bus service than POR. The main pool is more enticing to kids than the main pool at POR. The restaurant at CSR is wonderful, but not as kid friendly as Boatrights.

You can't go wrong with either one.

I checked out of POR after the first night because of the noise. I heard every toilet flush for what seemed like miles around. The child in the next room cooed and squeeled and hooted until 5:30 in the morning. The bushes were trimmed starting at 7 am. Not a quiet place.

I stayed at CSR previously and found it to be so relaxing. It was wonderful. I liked the Ranchos best. They were the furthest from the main building, but were sold out, so we couldn't stay there. The cm said the Ranchos were the most requested section because it is so quiet there. I loved this resort. DD and I spent the day at the resort feeding the ducks and the fish in the lake. We rented both a bike and a boat. We walked around the lake every evening. It was great! Very relaxing. She loved the play area there, too.
