We use a Igloo 12-pk back pack cooler. Before we head off to the park we pack about 8 water bottles, some flavored some not, in ice. It doesn't weigh that much and really is no big deal to carry like many people will have you believe.
For us the utility is in having icee cold drinks at your finger tips when you want them. I don't like to stop at CS for Florida water refills and I don't want to drop $20 for five waters every time we get thirsty.
I don't know about the Bobble bottles, but I can tell you from years of experience that the Brita bottles do not leak under normal conditions. (They are made from much stronger plastic than the Bobble bottles.) However, they will leak a bit on an airplane due to the pressure expanding. I solved that problem by simply remembering to lift up the thing you sip from (whatever that is called) when entering the plane, which relieves the pressure. I believe that Target will soon be selling the Brita bottles.Hoping someone can answer this for me - do the Bobble bottle leak? We usually take the bottled water and keep the one we are drinking from in our bag during rides, etc. but I don't want to soak our bags.
Also Amazon just started sellling another Brita water bottle for about $10. I ordered one of those and one of the Bobbles to try at home before our trip to see which I thought was better before I ordered enough for the family.

I have seen these water bottles that filter tap water as you drink. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with them? My concern is that they won't take that awful WDW water taste out of the water.
in America we have safe tap water. All talks of bringing filtering bottles is pointless.

Who said anything was unsafe? sorry I don't see your point.
