Considering BLT add on-Confused on points

I am considering 50 pt add on. Can someone tell me what points I would have and could I get the same UY and my AKV (june). When would my dues start? etc...

Add-ons direct from Disney would have the same UY that you already have. Your first allotment of BLT points would be in your June 09 UY. Dues would not begin until the occupancy date of the unit your points are attached to. That would be 9/1/2009 or possibly later. Also, Disney does not currently charge closing costs on add-ons.

Although your first allotment of BLT points would be June 2009 you may not utilize those points for a reservation at any other DVC resort that begins before Sept 1 2009, which is the opening date for BLT.

If you own BLT points you may make a reservation for BLT beginning March 1 2009 for stays beginning Sept 1 2009 - Feb 1 2010 ( non-owners may begin calling for BLT resi on March 15 for stays beginning Sept 1 2009 - Oct 15 2009)

Just added 30 BLT points. The number worked out well for us based on our travel schedule and the ability to bank/borrow.
We were able to get our current UY. Maint. Fees are N/A until September. No closing costs, waiting on the paperwork.

you might consider 60 points instead of 50.

60 points will get you a studio offseason (adventure and choice) for 5 nights in a standard (not mk) studio.

for the MK you will need 87 points for 5 nights stay.

brought 2 - 60 pts contracts and got the DP.

but think it depends upon your guide - might had to get permission to be able to give me the DP's and $5 discount.

buy now - so you can get smaller contracts.

if something happens and you have to sell - you won't have to part with your entire add-on.

once the 100 add on go into force - you would have to part with the entire contract.

Yes, you still get the discount and the DPs as long as the total points from all contracts is over 100 points. Be sure to ask for them if your guide does not offer them. Good luck!
