The thing that gets me is they are trying to cause fear where there is none needed but have no concern for our safety where it would be good to have some fear. I cannot as hard as I try understand the Liberal logic.

I think they are going to try to vote today. But then it will have to go back to the house. Let them push it off as long as possible and maybe it won't happen at all. Wishful thinking.

It's all starting to sound like pushy car salesman language to me-and when that starts at the dealership, DH and I walk out. If they're rushing us into a decision, then the deal isn't that good.

Yes, it does sound like a pushy car sales guy. Obama is on the campaign trial this morning likely to sound like the sales guy himself. Maybe there will be a lot of people who start to feel like that and his approval will drop. I think eyes are being opened.

At Turtle Talk last year, Crush threatened to have my dad escorted out of the park by security. Crush asked a child in the audience what humans eat. Seems he didn't take too kindly to my dad responding with the answer of "Turtles."

I felt bad for the kids who looked so totally confused ("Why would anyone eat Crush?!!!"), and Crush provided a PSA of "We do not eat turtles!," but it was one of the funniest things I've seen happen in WDW. My dad literally whispered "Turtles," so I still can't figure out how it was "heard" by Crush.

You know, after seeing the USS Ronald Reagan, and I know there's a USS George H.W. Bush, does anyone know if president Carter or Clinton has had any military hardware named after them?

So tell me: how is ending all the o&g lease sales (like he just did in Utah) and, in essence, stopping exploration, going to help the RV industry? They MUST have low gas prices stabilize, in order to entice motor home purchases. Isn't this the same pol that said he was happy gas was $4 a gallon, his only regret was it happened too quickly (and it was not additional taxes that increased the price). I am so sick of the hypocrisy. Just admit you want everyone destitute except for your special friends and be done with it. He could not care less about someone that installs the carpet in a motor home.

On another note- did you guys see Six Flags might be filing bankruptcy? Don't think Disney wil ever have to worry about that. If Six Flags goes down, that's just more visitors for WDW/DL, I'd think.

Exactly! If people were optimistic that gas has stabalized more would buy RV's. I know my parents would love one as long it wouldn't cost $300 for a tank of gas (or however much it costs at $4 a gallon)

I interested to see what these people ask him.

He just said "money will go to fixing up the school, it's a good school but i"m sure something could be done to make it better" What a whack job! Wanting to spend money that doesn't need to be spent.

Does anyone see the hypocrisy in talking to the RV people about the spending bailout adding jobs when the same party wants to regulate gas prices and fuel efficiency? We have owned 3 RV's - love to travel that way - but let me tell you they get like 6 - 12 miles per gallon. The libs don't want to save these jobs they want to regulate them away.

I did not see that. The six flags by us has been close to filing bankruptcy many, many times. Although they just had a huge job fair a week or so ago.

Sure, right now it's for companies receiving bailouts but do we REALLY think that the Obama team will stop there? I'm betting they're coming up with a "compelling state interest" right now to start capping salaries in other areas. Communism at it's finest.

Six flags has been in trouble for a while now. They closed the Wild Waves/Six Flags part here in the Seattle area a couple years back in an effort to scale down operation costs throughout the country.

I also read that their flagship Six Flags in LA was having troubles due to gangs that would hang out there during the day and harass families that would go to the park. The gangs of kids don't spend retail monies and pretty much just hang out there causing trouble. This keeps the families that do spend money in the parks away.
