You know, after seeing the USS Ronald Reagan, and I know there's a USS George H.W. Bush, does anyone know if president Carter or Clinton has had any military hardware named after them?

WOW! You guys are chatty on the weekends! I can't even try to catch up so I just hope everyone had a nice weekend.

I made DH happy and stayed away from the computer most of the weekend. I checked in a couple times when he was out doing something else, but I didn't stay on long. He simply does not understand the addiction....

Anyone else catch this? Per the CBO, the current recession is projected to end in late 2009 with net growth in 2010... without the Obama Porkulus bill!!!:So tell us again about the cliff we're looking over Dr. Doom???

I don't understand why they are doing this to our country. I don't care that, on paper, a chunk of this stimulus package shows to be going towards good things (schools, ect..) 1) The amount of that allocated money that is actually applied to whatever in that package will be minimal and what is wasted will be maximal. They’ve already proven over and over that they blow money and keep no accountability for it. 2) They’re trying to do what all of these people in America who are up to their necks in credit card debt are doing: Instead of letting us get out of this recession and begin to budget for those things that are needed, they’re putting this country further into debt by trying to spend on it now. Grow some fiscal responsibility will you!

I don't think so. Their president is a card carrying communist. The treasury secy is a tax cheat. Why wouldn't they view these nutjobs as men to look up to?

No, Tink. You know how irate our lukers get if we’re even slightly off when calling out our current President. The term is Socialist, not Communist. It’s been proven that Obama is, in fact, part of the Socialist Society, therefore, he’s a card carrying Socialist.

The stimulus package the U.S. Congress is completing would raise the government’s commitment to solving the financial crisis to $9.7 trillion, enough to pay off more than 90 percent of the nation’s home mortgages.

Maybe they should just do that, and then get another stimulus to pay everyone's rent so we will all have free housing.

The sad thing is there is probably someone on that side of the aisle that thinks that's a wonderful idea.

that's why they're in such a hurry!!! they want it to look like their savior took care of things, when we've all known things would take care of themselves. we've seen worse before and everything turned out fine.

where's that orange jumpsuit again? i think dr. doom should be wearing it soon. what he's doing is a form of terrorism...scaring the stupid people of this country to pieces.

Notice how keeping the people afraid is perfectly ok now. I can't tell you how many times I heard people say that President Bush was "keeping us afraid" and how terrible that was.

At Turtle Talk last year, Crush threatened to have my dad escorted out of the park by security. Crush asked a child in the audience what humans eat. Seems he didn't take too kindly to my dad responding with the answer of "Turtles."



I felt bad for the kids who looked so totally confused ("Why would anyone eat Crush?!!!"), and Crush provided a PSA of "We do not eat turtles!," but it was one of the funniest things I've seen happen in WDW. My dad literally whispered "Turtles," so I still can't figure out how it was "heard" by Crush.

The thing that gets me is they are trying to cause fear where there is none needed but have no concern for our safety where it would be good to have some fear. I cannot as hard as I try understand the Liberal logic.

I think they are going to try to vote today. But then it will have to go back to the house. Let them push it off as long as possible and maybe it won't happen at all. Wishful thinking.
