Concierge/Club Level Information - Part II (Sept 2009)

I've asked this question on the AKL thread, too, but I'm hoping someone here might know the info I am looking for:

I need to mail a long-overdue thank you note to a particular IPO CM at AKL -- does anyone know how to get it directly to him (postal address, etc)?

Also, can someone point me to the email address at WDW to compliment CMs?

He really went above and beyond for us (more than once) and I need to do something in return!:goodvibes

Their e-mail address is wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com and when writting the e-mail be sure to include the Cast Members name and the location of where they work. We wrote two e-mails about Club Level Cast Members from the Contemporary and Boardwalk who made our stays that much better and we were told when guests write e-mails like this a copy will go in their file, so they are told about it and etc.
 
I'd forgotten, until I saw it (here) recently: when staying CL, you don't have to go to the store at your resort to get the packages sent back from the parks. Do those packages go straight to your room, or do you get them from the CL staff?

The packages go staight into your room because the Club Level Cast Members put them in there.

Thanks! I knew we'd get a quick answer. Now, DW wants to buy something every day, so that "it can be like Christmas every day!" :upsidedow

Also, out of curiosity: if your room's not yet ready, do they store your luggage somewhere on the CL, or does it go into a room with everybody's check in luggage that day? We're using ME, but fly in the night before, so we'll be bringing our luggage on the bus (or under it).

You're welcome and to answer your other question if your room is not ready then Bell Services will keep it with other sets of luggage.

We're looking forward to arriving next month. Art gave us a tour of the BC CL many years ago, and it is something we'd like to try. I think it is going to "save" us about 3 dinners and 4 breakfasts during our stay.

We checked into The Contemporary Resort 9-13-10 and to our surprise they upgraded us from the 12th floor atrium room to a suite on the 14th floor. :woohoo::banana::worship:How great was that.

Wow that's great and congratulations. I am just wondering which suite on the 14th floor you got?

You must have been pleasantly surprised! How many nights were you there and will you be posting any photos?
 
For those who have stayed in a Deluxe Club Level Room at the Boardwalk what would be more important. Having a room on the 3rd floor with the bigger balcony despite having to take the stairs to the lounge on the 4th floor, or is it more important staying on the 4th floor so you are closer to the lounge?
 
If I had small kids, I would want to be on the same floor. That way it is easier for them to walk back and forth or for you to carry a tray of food back to them.

If it was teens and adults, I would go for the bigger balcony.
 
It is more important to me to be on the 4th floor, even if it means a smaller balcony. We make sure to request 4th floor when staying in a Deluxe room.
