Can anyone recommend a free or low cost antivirus protection? My Norton subscription is running out and due to financial restrictions I am looking to save wherever I can. I am not that computer literate so I need advice

Oops, sorry for the blank reply. Check the web page for your Internet Provider. Some companies like Optimum, Comcast etc provide a security package free.

Avast and Microsoft Security Essentials are two that are free and are wonderful. These are the two that I see my computer/geek friends use the most. I personally use Avast.
