Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

It has been a few years since we have been to Disney and we are going back in Aug. I know there were some tips on how to get through to make a PS for CRT. What is the best advice? Do I stay on the line or do I keep hitting redial after I hear a certain recording? I can't really remember what I did in 2002, but I was able to get PS, now I need to try again.

go to page 112 on this thread post 1672

I'm going to cancel my PS for Cinderella's Royal Table for April 20 at 10:55. If someone is interested in coordinating, please send me a PM.

I am making a cancellation as well. June 23rd at 1:15pm for a table of 6. I will wait to see if I hear from someone first though, just PM me and we can coordinate it.

I've tried posting my own thread and I've tried searching, but I cannot find advice for getting a PS for a group of 15 at CRT. We have a GG#. Am I correct in assuming that we HAVE to call the group dining #? Anyone done a goup of 15 b4? TIA.

No, you just call the regular number actually. When are you going? And what is a GG#?

Its a grand gatherings # so that th PS will show up on the itineraries for all of your group's hotel rooms.
I had understood that at a certain # (12?) they transfer you to Group Dining so it wastes time and you miss out on CRT. Have you done a group larger than 12 on the main number?

Ooops, we are going July 10-16. Only about 10 days until I can call!

It is 13 that you go to Groups and when I told you you could call the regular number, I was on the phone asking them, and they said you could for 15 for CRT. Hope that helps!

I am so bummed! I completely forgot to call this morning. Baby is sick, was throwing up and I just remembered. Of course, everything is sold out. Oh well. So much for my practice runs. I'm now debating if it's worth changing our plans (or buying a park hopper) if I can get a reservation tomorrow or Sunday.

Thanks a bunch! :) I'm gonna try to get a couple of family members to call.

CRT dancing.... thanks for all the advice from boards like this we made priority seating for Cindy's breakfast without any wait at all. :cool1:
(not bad even with the jump to daylight savings)
Our three princesses will be so excited  :cheer2: :bounce:

Ok, we did it. The third morning of getting up at 3:45 to get a PS at Cinderella's Castle. Got through at 3:58. Made a PS for 6 at 8:50. We had two cell phones and one "land phone" between my husband and I. Got through on the reg phone. Just kept dialing all over and over starting at 3:56.
Right before the alarm at 3:45 I was dreaming that I was on the phone for a long time with the reservationist talking and after all that they did'nt have a table! How silly to be dreaming about it! I sure hope it's worth it. I got all worked up about it just from reading this web site. We'll be traveling with friends who have a 9 yr old DD whom I'm sure will love it and we have a DD who will have just turned 13 :sad2: befor our trip.. She used to LOVE the princesses and had all the dress up outfits etc.. ...So I think she'll enjoy it too. Then our DS age 8 will probably enjoy the atmosphere right?

Ok, Thanks for all the info.

I think you'll all enjoy it ::yes:: . My DS & Dnephew were both 9 when we were there & they both loved it. They really enjoyed actually being in the castle and our extended family of 9 all loved the food. There was something for everyone, and since it was coming right out from the kitchen, it was all hot & fresh. The french toast filled with cream cheese & covered in blueberries is to die for :hyper: , and the breakfast potatoes are pretty awesome too. It was served family style but our waiter kept bringing out as much as we wanted. Of course, after all that food, you want to go back to your room & sleep :rotfl: , LOL. It might be better to have a later seating and skip lunch, but it's incredible to get in the park before it's open - talk about Great kodak moments! One of my DSis's was in a meeting (she's a Floridian) and was delayed, showing up as we were leaving, but they still put together a plate for her. :goodvibes Actually our waiter helped make the event extra special. He played the part of the royal butler :snooty: - never slipping out of character. He referred to the boys as 'young master' or something to that effect... calling my DB 'Your Lordship' and my DSIS, DSIL, and myself as 'Mi' Lady'. The boys could have cared less about the princesses, though my 2 nieces, ages 9 & 10 were thrilled (though I admit even they prefer Pooh & Co.) Sorry to go on & on - I guess you can tell I'm a true Disney addict suffering from major withdrawal! Anyway, CRT is the #1 request for everyone in our family to do again next trip. ENJOY!!!

Jessica

Ok, wonderful! Sounds like you always enjoy CRT! Thank you so much for your input. Just love this web site! Can't wait for our trip!

Could someone please sum it up simple for me??? we can start calling on sunday!!!!

what time does the lines open?

thanks, wendy

The lines open up at 7:00 am eastern time. We got through at 6:58 eastern time. Start dialing few minutes before 7 and use more than one phone. That worked for us!

Be sure to tell them you have your own transportation even if you don't. It seems that some CM won't book the 8:05 seatings if you say you are staying on site and don't have a car. Say..."earliest possible for Cinderella's breakfast and I have my own car." You can make it to an 8:05 using WDW transportation.

There is lunch now, so be sure to say breakfast if that's what you want.

After the lines open...press #1 and then #1 again. Both times when I called for CRT, they picked up at 6:58 so dial earlier than 7:00 and that's EST.

Once you get through and you get music, do NOT hang up. Hopefully, you'll hear a voice right away.

This may be a dumb question, but how early can you call in advance for CRT breakfast? We will be going our first time (July 20-27). Thanks :earsboy:
