We just decided to take a trip in May before it gets too hot. We will be there from May 12-23. My 2 year old loved the breakfast when we went in December. Since we just decided I was not able to call to get ressies for this trip so if anyone is going to cancel for any of the dates we will be there I would greatly appreciate you letting me know. Thanks in advance. We are going back in November so hopefully we will get to go then!

I had to reschedule our trip until May and I have FOUR CRT reservations that I will be cancellling in the next few days. I would be happy to let you know when I call.

The dates are:
April 4, 7 people, 8:30
April 5, 5 people, 8:05
April 5, 5 people, 8:05
April 6, 5 people, 8:45

I am hoping I will get someone's cancellation from here for May 26-31. If anyone is cancelling for any of those dates please PM me. I am looking for 3 or 4 seats.

How hard is it to get reservations for Dinner? Do you have to do the same speed dialing race 90 days in advance that you need to do for breakfast? We have two sons who are not interested in the princess part of CRT but do want to eat in the Castle.

In my experience, no. You do not have to do the early morning/speed dial thing for dinner. It might, however, be in your best interest to call sometime during the day of the 90 day window to make your PS.

If anyone has CRT breakfast reservations and plan on cancelling for April 28 or 29 I would love to have a heads up. We always go and decided not to this time but my 1 year old has recently fallen in love with the princesses and is terrified of the characters so I thought this might be her only joyous character meal. But of course we are well within the 90 days and hoping for a long shot. We prefer CRT but would probably take the Norway princess breakfast also. Both have been full of course.

I'm so disappointed!
I tried to do it as the directions stated but it kept putting me on hold. Finally at about 6:05am (my central time) I just stayed on hold and no one answered until after 6:30am. All they had left for June 16th was a 2 seat table and I couldn't do it... it's me and 3 kids on this trip.

June 16th is my 4yr old's birthday (turning 5) and she thinks she's going to be in Cindy's castle on her birthday.

If anyone decides to cancel for breakfast or lunch on June 16th- PLEASE let me know so maybe we can coincide your cancellation and my PS at the same time. I would really appreciate it. she's going to be heartbroken.

Hurry! Someone just posted on the main board that they have a CRT PS they are cancelling on June 16th! I thought of you when I saw the post!

Well I am so excited! I have been calling nearly every day to try to get CRT for our trip and finally got one!! YAY!/ BUT - it is only for 2. So now I have to go with just dd and leave everyone else out . I made the ressie - but I am wondering if this is fair? My other three are boys so it won't be AS big a deal to them, but still I can not help but feel sad they will miss out. What do you guys think I should do?

I think you should go...a mother daughter outing is very special and Daddy can take the boys on an adventure on Tom Sawyer's Island...heck, they should even get some props to make it a real adventure...our children are 9, 7 and 6 and we try to make a point once or twice a month for each parent to take an individual child out on their own..it may just be to the grocery, or it may be painting pottery, or just a walk in the park....my kids think it's a very special time...enjoy!!!

I agree, it will be fun for you and dd. If I can get a cancelled reservation for May I am just going with my two dds and my mom. My ds, dh and dad are going to do something else.

I just wanted to offer some encouragement about getting reservations for CRT. I called yesterday before I actually studied the posts. Didn't get through so today my husband and I called together. I got through before he did and would you believe a CM answered and I was so programmed to press the button that I disconnected him and got back into the queue. I was so disappointed. I thought that was my only chance. We hung on until that first message comes on and says "If you are hearing this, Cinderella's Royal Table is probably sold out". He hung up but I had convinced myself that the Storybook Breakfast would be just as good so I was going to make those ressies when they answered. I was on hold until 7:15 and STILL GOT A TABLE AT CRT for breakfast at 8:30!!!!! I was shocked!!! I just casually asked whether there were any tables left and she said let me check...yep we have a few how is 8:30 for breakfast!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY MEEEEEE!

Anyway, the moral of my story, is that perhaps the addition of lunch will help free up some breakfast tables since it was 15 minutes into the reservations and I still got one.

I called yesterday and today at both 6:55 and 7:20 and each and every time got anything I wanted! Tables for 6 no less! Thursday it wasnt like that though, it was sold out by 7:10.

YAHOO!!! I GOT IT!!! After calling daily well within the 90 days (about 45 to go), I got a CRT for our trip in May...I was willing to go for a table for 3 but they actually had one for five on May 18!!! So, now my whole family can go and this will truly be a magical last trip to Disney..it's been wonderful going but there are sooo many other places and experiences we want our children to have and we've always used Disney as a "reward" for all the relocating we've had to do with our jobs...we hopefully will be moved to our last home in the next 4 weeks...and 3 weeks later we can go to Disney!!! We've done the castle before but never the Cindy meal so this will let us leave Disney knowing we've hit all the major bases and sampled all the good fun!

Thanks guys!! I got some CM's who were just plain rude and weren't seriously checking...FYI...if you give them 5 dates to check and they come back in 3 seconds and say "ALL BOOKED"....they're just being lazy and feel it's fruitless. Luckily, out of the two weeks I've been trying....I got 3 great CM's who took the time to check each and every day for a 3 person and a 5 person table....each call took over 3 minutes...so if they aren't actually looking...ask them to!

Does anyone have tips or suggestions on trying for cancellations the week before the trip? Do you try to call each day during the early 6:55 time period like all the other people, or do you try calling any time of day to check? Both? Or just wait till the 48 hour timeframe? Sorry, I am new at this and would appreciate any advice. Clueless about the 90 day thing and didn't even book our trip that far in advance, so, just taking a stab at it.

If anyone is cancelling a CRT reservation for any day between 4/7-11, please PM me. I would be eternally grateful.

I think you have to just keep calling. I keep getting CM's who I don't think are checking, because like others said they come back in 15 seconds are say there are no openings for any of my dates. When I asked if she had checked each day, she said yes. Not sure what to do about that. Good luck!

I am so excited, I finally got CRT for date and time I wanted! Thanks so much to GoingtoDisney on these boards for coordinating a time. She canceled and I called and picked it up. I am on cloud nine right now!

Just called Disney Dining on a whim, and, while there were currently no cancellations for my dates, they gave me some good info.

Maybe this is old news. But, according to this CM, many cancellations are made either mid to late morning or around dinnertime (I guess they mean ET) so you do not need to do the 7 am drill. This CM recommended trying in the evenings instead--nothing changes between 10 pm ET and 7 am ET-that is to say, for people looking for reservations less than 90 days before their trip.

HTH! I'm going to keep trying, but again, if anyone has a cancellation for a group of 5 or 7 (different group # for different days--we have family joining us in between) for any time 4/7-11, please PM me.

It has been a few years since we have been to Disney and we are going back in Aug. I know there were some tips on how to get through to make a PS for CRT. What is the best advice? Do I stay on the line or do I keep hitting redial after I hear a certain recording? I can't really remember what I did in 2002, but I was able to get PS, now I need to try again.
