Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

I would like to thank all who contributed to this thread. We are going to Disney Dec 26-Jan 1 with our 2 daughters and my Mom and Dad.
Called this morning at 7am and got our priority seating at the Castle :teeth: on Dec 30

Thanks again for all the tips

Welcome to the DIS TomD!! You'll love it here!! :sunny: Congrats on your ps!

I'd like to add my voice to disneyfan551 - "Welcome to the Dis!" Watch out though - it can be addicting:crazy: Seriously, you'll get tons of helpful info here (as you've already discovered) as well as 'meet' many fellow Disney fanatics. I too started on the Dis after searching for a way to get Cindy's ressies. Congrats & have a wonderful time! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.:hyper:

Thanks Caillin's Mom
Now I understand what to do with the 1 and 1 again, but if
I get the message "we are experiencing high calling volume"
do I stay on that call and wait or hang up and redial?

Thank you for your help!

from Wintermom, my daughter, my daughter's friend, and her
mother (the pressure is on!)pirate:

wintermom,

Do not hang up! Do you have anyone else calling ie daughter's friend's mom? Your odds are better if more than one person is calling.

Sending you pixie dust to get your ps!!!princess:

When I got the high call volume recording, I just kept pressing 1 until it let me out - I actually think I bypassed a menu or two, because instead of asking me for a phone number, it connected me right through at about 7:00:45. Still got Cindy's for 8. BW to you!

I recently was able to get breakfast reservations during the busy Christmas week. I called right at 7am 90 days out, was kept holding for about 12 minutes, but was able to reserve 12 seats.

Finally got ressies for January 1. Was dialing at 5:59 and got thru but had to hold until 6:12. Was able to get 8:55 for a party of 8. Getting up early paid off today!!!!!!

ok here's my concern... if Christmas week is suppose to be soooo busy how is everyone holding until 15 mintues after the hour and still getting ressies for CRT? I'm supposedly going during the "off" season and it took all week to get my ps at CRT. I just don't want all this planning to go up in smoke with a crazy crowd. We're going the week after Thanksgiving. Any opinions. I would have been cooked for a table for 5 after about 7:03. Did the 1 + 1 thing. Always got through just not in enough time. Not complaining just worried.

I think this does make sense. Everyone is getting their PS for Christmas week (both CRT and other). For me, I got my PS each morning but did not need CRT PS. During normal periods, I call anytime the first week of availability. But Christmas crowds are HUGE, and I wanted to pick the precise restaurants and times.

Good luck! :)

I think the difference might be you have a lot of folks who are experienced visiting the week following Thanksgiving, whereas the week of Christmas, you might have a lot of folks who don't even realize that PS for the princess breakfast, or any priority seating, is now 90 days out rather than 60.

Just a thought!

I got it , I got it, I got it!!!! Breakfast at Cindy's for 6 people,
Jan2, 10:20 (I wanted late morning!!)
Thanks so much! Your advice did the trick, I got right through,
no hold, no waiting, I am so excited!! My DD and her friend will
be thrilled (when she wakes up and I tell her!) Thanks again
everyone for the pixie dust and advise.

Now one more question, I did my second dry run yesterday
and got breakfast at Cindy's for 8:00 on Jan.1 Since today
I got the day and time I want I am going to cancel the reservation
for Jan. 1 Is there some way I can help someone else out who
wants this reservation?? I know you can't transfer it so what should I do?

Did I mention Thank you, Thank you,

Wintermom:Pinkbounc

Wintermom, what you can do is post what day and time you are going to release the booking so that someone else knows when it will be available. Congratulations on this morning. I got through about 1 minute too late and got stuck in a major call jam. Oh well, better luck tomorrow.
Much pixie dust,
Claire

I will be trying tomorrow morning for CRT with Wednesday morning as my back up day (jan 3rd or 4th) . What do i need to press? I made my Chef Mickey ressie this morning usuing the 800 #. I did 1 then 1 then 3. Is this what you guys all use?

Thanks for any tips!!

Hi all,

I know there's no "trading" of priority seatings for Cinderella's Breakfast, but I wanted to let you all know that I'm cancelling two of the reservations I made for Christmas week (hopefully someone can call in and get them). I was lucky enough to get a reservation on our "preferred" day of December 29. The dates I'm cancelling are:

December 27, 2004 - 8:25 a.m. - 7 people
December 28, 2004 - 8:50 a.m. - 7 people

It's 8:37 a.m. (ET) and I'm calling over to Disney dining right now.

Good luck to you all!

Okay, so I am just under 200 days, but I am planning ahead. I have been tossing it around in my head and cannot decide what time would be best to get a reservation for - or should I say try to get a reservation for?!
We are staying off site, supposedly 15 minutes from Disney. I know that this is the parking lot and we still have to take a tram to the TTC and then the monorail to the gate. About how long does it take to get from the parking lot to the gate?
I was thinking if we made the reservation for as late as possible (not sure what time that is?) it would hold us over until dinner (we could snack in the early afternoon). Is this a good idea or should we shoot for the earliest possible seating? (not sure what time that is either).
Thanks!

Thanks for posting SillyOleBear!! Wish I could use those but I'm sure some lucky CRT hopefuls will be thrilled to see they can get in then!!

(I'm actually looking for one on either 10/15 or 12/10 for 2.)
