I can't believe it! I just rang Disney Dining, did about 3 redials cos they were still closed and then got straight through using the 1 1 technique given on the board. I could hardly speak I was so shocked to hear someone's voice. I have PSB at 8:50 on 3rd January. This was going to be my back-up in case i don't get the CRT for the 7th but maybe it would be good to do both if I get lucky twice. I AM SO EXCITED!
Thankyou to these wonderful boards for giving me the skills to pull this off (and on my first try too!)

I got right through too!!!!! I have an 8:05 CRT ressie for Jan 3rd!!!! What a relief...... it was so easy!!!

Congratulations mickeymousefan, I know you wanted this day especially. it did seem too easy this morning though didn't it? Does this mean that crowds are going to be low that week? Time will tell but for now I could bounce off the ceiling I'm so happy. Maybe on the evening of the 3rd, we should get together and compare notes on the two?

fizz13, it was too easy. We are really hoping for low crowds on this trip, so hopefully this is a good sign!!! I cant wait.... we could compare notes...... then next trip I could aim for PSB!!!

fizz and fan, I'm glad it's not just me that thought it was too easy! This has been great! We got C-mas week with relative ease also, and were similarly hoping that it could be an indicator of lower crowds - but I'm not getting my hopes up. I think the previous poster who pointed out that during this time, less "in the know" people go, so they aren't as likely to call 90 days out for PS's was probably correct. But I guess that means we might have a leg up on many of them, with park tips and opening times, and all that good stuff that we find here, so that's something!

This is my first post, although I have been browsing a bit for the last week or so.

I just have to say a huge THANK YOU for all of the tips regarding the breakfast. I called this morning and got seats for January 4th! Yayayay!!!

I was so nervous, my heart was racing, I swear I almost passed out.


Anyway, thanks again for all of the tips, and thanks to my friend who directed me to this board! I would have been clueless without it.

So has anyone eaten with Cinderella and the other princesses lately? Was the food any good? Were you rushed through your meal so they could herd in the next set of ressies? We have PS for Dec 1st and I'm starting to wonder how good our $50 breakfast will be !

I want to send you a big welcome to the dis. You will find very valuable info here and it is VERY addictive. I started back during the summer and I'm on everyday (more than once).

We were successful this morning at booking a Jan 4 PS for Cinderella for 11 (all sitting at one table!). I had tried Tuesday morning, but even at 7:10 (ET) I was too late. I then searched the ol' DIS Boards, found this thread, and starting calling this morning at about 6:55. Using the "1 and 1" method, both DW (on her cell) and I both got in at 6:58! My SIL, who also started calling at 6:55, did not use the "1 and 1", went through all of the prompts, but never got past "on hold" status. When we told our youngest daughter that we were having breakfast with the princesses, her reaction was priceless. Thanks to all.

jj721, I cant believe you got one table! We have 11 in our party and we did not get even one PS at one table our entire trip!! That is great for you guys!!

Kellydelly, we ate here last year, and the food was GREAT!! We are hoping it can stand up to our expectations this trip!

I called Disney today to check on something and I was told to make sure I brought ID to this breakfast. They said people were selling their seating on Ebay so this was the step they were taking to prevent it. If the name on the reservation does not match your id then you would be refused seating. Found it strange but figured I would pass it along

I got my CRT for Jan7th at 9:25. This is great cos I now have CRT and PSB and can decide which I would like to do. It has been easy getting them as well, thanks to the DIS, so thank you everybody for the great tips.
When i release one, I will be sure to post it here first. BTW PSB is for 3rd Jan.

Struck out with Group Dining everytime in August when trying to make reservations for 15 - probably would have had better luck trying smaller numbers with regular Disney Dining. Anyway, if anyone knows they are cancelling between 8-11 Nov, please PM or email me. I'd be happy with anything! Thanks.

Update: Boy did we get lucky! I called today and received two separate ressies for six! On the same day! Only 10 minutes apart! I may have used up all my pixie dust, but if someone is cancelling on 9 Nov, please PM or email me. We only need three more. Thanks!!

6bowmans- yep, we had a party of 15 last year. Tried the group dining method once, a very helpful cm suggested we ask for smaller numbers. We had several people calling and asking for parties of 12. We happened to get lucky and get two parties of 12 on the morning we wanted- we just called back and lessened one 12 to a party of 3. However, one party of 12 was at one table and couldn't be lessened- but the other could. Sorry you didn't have any luck, but this is the place to be if you didn't. Good luck to you!!!

I just read on another site that CRT will be closed for rehab 1/17 to 1/28 just thought I would pass the infor along I don't know if there are any of you out there looking for CRT for those dates.
