I didn't get it today either Sillysully, but I did get Crystal Palace for 8:15!

I may try again in a day or two for a different day, or I might call back later and see if there are any cancellations.

I did leave 2 messages w/Poly Conc. but not until today. I hadn't had a chance to complete the itinerary questionnaire b/c I hadn't made a schedule until 2 days ago. I will hope for a cancellation to turn up, but if not, I'll try for a different day during our week. It's just that I wanted it for our first morning and on a non-EE day. Maybe b/c we're a party of 5 it's a little more difficult to get a table. Send some pixie dust my way please!!!

Bigbabyblues - I went with Crystal Palace, too, and got an 8:05 PS for 9/28. I'm sure everyone will be happy that we're just there and I want to try the breakfast lasagna anyway (LOL)!

I'm not sure if you are interested, but I called today just to see if I could possibly get a better time for my CRT bkfast, which of course I could not (but I will keep checking!) but they mentioned that the PSB is still open. We are doing that one too (I'll be calling tomorrow am, but sounds like I do not have to stress like I did to get my CRT ps!). You might want to try that!
Good luck! And keep watching the boards. People will post that they are cancelling their ps (b/c they get all their families to call & end up with 5 ressies!!!) & then you can call right after!

This is unreal...last year I tried to get PS for Cindy's breakfast 3 months before we were going and it was booked solid for our whole stay, so we gave up that idea and went to another character dining at Epcot...Now tonight, I sat and read all these posts about how hard it has been for alot of you to get reservations for Cindy's breakfast, I got a weird feeling, grabbed the phone, called WDW-Dine and when the lady answered I started out with saying..I know this is probably impossible ...but...asked her for PS during our stay and she said....YES?! We do have the 3rd @9:45am available???????????

Yes I booked the reservation!!!!!!

I asked her if she KNEW how many of you all have had such a hard time getting PS for this event and all of the methods used to get through to make reservations...It's so totally unreal and I'm exstatic!!!!

How about trying to call in afternoons/evenings instead or try both?? Just a very friendly tip to all of you trying to get PS for Cindy's breakfast..

I called Central time at 8 pm....When she told me that she had availability...I asked: Is that for the ONE?? I was totally astonished and shocked...

My weird feeling turned out to be a good feeling...

I still can't believe it happened after have been reading all of your posts about how hard it is

Anyways, try at another time of day also...not just between 6:54 am and 7:02, it might work out!!!!

cnids00 - that's great news for you!!! You probably happened along at the right time when a cancellation came through. I will try, and hopefully Poly Conc. will help, to call almost daily to check for cancellations.

ErininCT - I was offered the Norway breakfast, but I really wanted to be at the MK our first day. I am going to try again tomorrow for another day during our stay and if I strike out again, I'll see if the Norway b'fast is available.

Don't forget you can always do lunch at the Castle too. The only difference will be the lack of characters at the meal.

But, I think alot of people do cancel. If I don't get the date that I want when I call Aug 30 for Nov 27th, I will call every day, twice a day, until I get one. And I will! I did that for a cruise once. They only had lower deck cabins when I made my reservations, and I called every day 2-3 times a day until I got an upgrade from a cancellation. Some of you are probably thinking "Get a Life" but, I put it in my speed dial, and called while I was doing something else (cooking dinner, etc). It really only took less than a minute. It became a mission!

Also, for those of you doing CRT breakfast, you might want to check out the breakfast vouchers from Hotwiresavingsclub.com. They are a pretty good deal for the adult breakfast at CRT. The voucher is $18.75 (or about) and include tax and tip. Otherwise it's $19.95 plus 6% tax and 15% tip, which turns out to be about $24. The children's voucher is about break-even ($12.25?).

I got CRT today!

I got up at 7:05, not feeling too well anyway, picked up the phone, got the "Thank you for calling WDW, we're experience a higher amount of calls and the wait will be longer than normal..." thing, sat on hold for about 5 minutes and gave up. Went back to bed. 7:30 I got up to get some medicine, decided I had to at least try, since it's for the last day of our trip, there aren't anymore chances. Called the 800#, flubbed the entries (will they STOP changing them already? I've called every day this week and it hasn't been the same several times), hung up because I ended up with CRO, called again. Got partway through the entries, put in the wrong first digit of my ressie/phone #, stayed on the line anyway (I only entered one digit, lol), a wonderful CM picked up right away! I was going to just ask for PSB for 10/1 and 1900 PF for 10/2, but since I got through, I HAD to at least ask for CRT, even though it's about 7:35, so I asked, told her I knew there probably wasn't, and she started laughing and said, "You wanna bet?" They only had one time left, 9:50 am, but I took it.

DH will think I'm insane, but I didn't even get up with the intention of calling. Now I'm going to get my medicine and go back to bed.

I followed all the suggested tips for a PS for CRT....I was on hold from 7 am to 7:10 am, with no hope of actually getting the PS. I decided to hold on anyway, just to see what would happen. Guess what? I got the PS for the date I wanted Oct. 3, for 9 am, for a party of 5. I couldn't believe it, since I heard they're usually sold out by 7:05. Am I just really lucky, or could there be other factors at work? Doesn't really matter, I'm psyched! And so is my 5 year old. I guess my message is, even if it's 7:10 and you're still on hold, hang in there just in case.

So sorry! I know how it feels...

I would NOT ever hang up if you get through like that. It just wasn't meant to be. I've gotten through within 2 minutes and it was sold out.

If I were you, I'd call back now for cancellations. People who have friends call with them sometimes get 2 PS and cancel one within the first hour. I've had luck calling back and getting a cancellation at about 7:15a and 7:30a. Don't give up!!

Well, I tried calling back, but still no luck. I went ahead and booked CP for 10/5, and hopefully I'll have better luck with CRT tomorrow. Please throw some pixie dust my way, it looks like I'm gonna need it!

DON'T GIVE UP!! There will be people cancelling today. Call every 30 minutes if you have to. Use the 800 number 1 800 828 0228. It only takes a few minutes to check, and you will be so happy if you get it. Be persistant and you will get it!

Might they have PS's on Ebay because I just called for my trip next month and they are booked. LOL!

You might try calling every couple of days, and ask if they have any spots for your whole trip, sometimes people cancel. The cancelation requirement is either 24 or 48 hours prior to the PS time, so keep trying! Sometimes people change their minds at the latest minute the can. If you aren't able to get a PS, you might try walking up to the podium early in the morning when you're at MK and asking if there's anything open. It's a longshot, but I have heard of people getting in this way.

This one usually books solid 90 days out, within 15-20 minutes of the phone lines opening. Do you want to eat in the castle for this particular meal, or are you just looking for Cinderella? If it's mainly Cinderella, you could try dinner at 1900 Park Fare, at the Grand Floridian. The characters there are Cinderella, Prince Charming, two of the mice, and the Fairy Godmother. Or, if you just wanted to eat in the castle, they also serve lunch and dinner.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions. I have gotten reservations for the first two mornings of our trip (trying to decide which to keep) and will probably try again tomorrow and the next day to see if we can get a better time. Currently to get in you need to enter the following 1, 2, phone number with area code followed by #, 2. The last question asks if you have made a trip to Disney since a certain date. Even if you have I would enter 2 (which means you haven't) because that will save and extra step which requires you to enter the number of times that you have visited.

if they don't have a table for the # in your party up the # 1 more and see then. I found out they won't give you atable for 5 with 4 in your party. Askthem what they do have and work around it. They do keep tables open for walk ups. You might want to be the 1st one at the podium on the day you want to get a table.

Thank you all so much for your encouragement yesterday! I got my PS for 10/6 this morning!! WOO-HOO! I am soooooo psyched! After being so dissapointed yesterday about not getting the date I wanted, I actually figured out it would be better for us to have a PS for 10/6 instead of 10/5. I guess it all worked out for the best afterall. Thanks again!!
